15/06/2025: The food is quite good, but you have to ask the waiter to bring napkins, olive oil or parmesan. The food is quite good, but not outstanding as in Sicily many places offer much tastier food for the same price in my opinion. Tolerate looks terrible, dirty probably when they open nobody checks it, no toilet seat.

02/06/2025: Terrible food , mainly served lukewarm at very high prices. The waiter recommended the artichoke and then served a dish with no artichoke which was effectively boiled peas. Palermo is a city known for good food - someone should tell the people running this restaurant. Edit: As the restaurant correctly points out below, I was not charged for the non-existent artichoke

03/06/2025: Ho cenato 2 volte in questo ottimo ristorante situato proprio a lato del Teatro Politeama, e sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto. I piatti serviti sono di ottima qualità, si percepisce la freschezza delle materie prime utilizzate. L'ambiente interno è molto fine e la persona che mi ha servito molto gentile e professionale. La cosa che ho più apprezzato è il fatto che, ormai ovunque, non si trovi facilmente un ristorante di questo tipo, ossia dove viene perfettamente combinata la semplicità dei piatti proposti con l'alta qualità delle materie prime utilizzate, mentre si assiste più spesso a due macrocategorie, ovvero i ristoranti che offrono piatti semplici ma di qualità mediocre, e quelli che offrono piatti gourmet eccessivamente elaborati e con un eccesso di apparenza.

03/05/2025: Great choice of fresh fish dishes well prepared and served in front of the table. Seafood focus overall. Very friendly, attentive service.Bread is not good, considering we are in Italy, grissini in supermarket plastic packaging is not acceptable in a restaurant with so much history and potential, which positions itself as a place for authentic Sicilian cuisine.

28/05/2025: Excellent place to have lunch and/or sample fresh dishes and local specialties. Excellent express pasta of the day and excellent appetizers.. Friendly staff and fairly complete cuisine.. It doesn't excel in speed of service but it is rewarded by the environment which offers large screens where you can watch video music and/or programmes.. Still reasonable prices in line for those who want to have lunch/eat at a reasonable price.. I recommend it..

19/06/2025: This is one of the best meals i had in Palermo!! I was lucky enough to get a solo table outside with nobody around and truly enjoyed my food and wine. Service is amazing, the staff is very helpful and even gave me some great suggestions for the night. 10/10 a must

13/06/2025: AVOID THIS PLACE, FORGOTTEN BY GOD AND HONESTY, THEY WILL DISAPPOINT YOU BIG TIME...!!! We stopped in Palermo for a memorable evening in this place known many years ago, where you would queue for hours to get in, where we met the parents and even the grandparents of the current manager...... And where the dishes were exquisite...!! Our disappointment, regret and displeasure was enormous.. The empty place, the tables without tablecloths, at the table only the children and grandchildren of the manager... We asked for a glass of wine and he showed up with a bottle of "Intrigato", he "recommended" some indefinable cod and octopus appetizers, served in two mini bowls and spaghetti with squid ink obviously diluted with water who knows how many times... We didn't have the heart to tell him that the food served was truly pitiful, in fact worse..but only for the memory of his poor ancestors.. When it was time to pay the manager however asked us with shameless arrogance 90 euros!!!! Ninety euros!!!! For 2 mini appetizers and 2 plates of spaghetti!!! The bottle of Intrigato 26 euros!!!! His ancestors, grandparents, parents will be turning in their graves for this blatant affront to common sense, an offense to all honest restaurateurs of Palermo, but above all an offense to the exceptional renowned Sicilian culinary art that tonight has suffered a bad blow from this improvised and dishonest menage of self-styled "restaurateurs".. We are sorry dear "owner" ... but you really asked for it with your disrespectful behavior for your ancestors ... and for us!! Anna and Antonino
