Casa Stagnitta In Palermo

Always a positive experience, courtesy and quality are never lacking at this ice cream shop connected to the historic Stagnitta coffee roaster. For me, it's the best ice cream in Palermo. Coffee specialists, so you can find rum or caramel variegated coffee flavors, or coffee stracciatella, and of course there are other flavors like Bronte pistachio or hazelnut, and even fruity ones! It's located on one of the most beautiful streets in Palermo's historic center, which leads from Via Roma to Piazza Bellini: Discesa dei Giudici. This historic, now pedestrianized street is full of pubs and other tourist services (pizzerias and bike rentals). Highly recommended for their granitas, too, and you can buy their own roasted coffee from the roaster next door.

Excellent granita: creamy and tasty. I'd avoid aperitifs/drinks because the prices are too high.

Spectacular breakfast…everything was delicious. Highly recommended before starting a day of sightseeing (very close to the historic center).

very good coffee and nice pastry. The waiters seem to be annouyed by they customers and are a bit harsh.

The swordfish and sardine pasta were perfect, but the grilled octopus was a bit bitter, probably because it was overcooked.

The beverage was just okay. But a good, not too expensive place when you want to escape the sun for a short while and use the restroom.

In Palermo, there's a very pleasant and inviting cafe in the square next to the church. Their coffee is excellent, and the value for money is great. It's a place that makes you feel good.

Amazing coffee even for someone who cares about it. I recommend to buy their coffee beans blends.
