18/03/2026: A local friend suggested this establishment and I was not disappointed. Pasta was perfect al dente, not overly seasoned, so you can taste the real flavors of the food. It tasted like something my Noni would make. Loved the stone walls and simple decor. Staff was very kind and attentive . This dining experience was true comfort!

18/02/2026: I ordered the Casarecce Pesce spada e Melanzane, and it was very good. At first, I almost didn't order it because the menu said it had "mint". Fortunately, I couldn't even detect a taste of mint. My friend ordered Spaghetti al Pesto Siciliano, and he enjoyed his as well. The only critique I have is that the food came after waiting more than an hour.

28/02/2026: Nice, but the food was average. For a 2-euro meal, I expected at least a somewhat well-maintained bathroom.

25/02/2026: February 24, 2026 (lunchtime) Everything was positive: the impeccable location overlooking the sea, the delicious fresh fish, the prompt and friendly waitstaff, and Piero's kindness in counting the bills. It was a pleasant experience on this benign, sunny day that heralded spring after several days of decidedly adverse weather. February 2, 2024 (lunchtime) The first courses were fresh and tasty, and in abundance. The fried calamari was excellent. The service was quick and friendly, courtesy of the young man Paolo, who waits on the tables. Also well done to the person in charge of preparing the bill, perhaps the owner of the La Mattanza restaurant. OLD REVIEW. Good, although the quality/price ratio has suffered a bit. I'm sure that with a little good will, the place will return to being as competitive as it once was...

21/12/2025: Very cute and charming place. The staff was friendly and helpful. The appetizers were plentiful and delicious. The pinza were also delicious, and the pasta was light and crispy. My only complaint was the cocktails. At least the ones I had. The Long Island was a little too light for my taste, and the daiquiri was a bit bland.

31/07/2025: The atmosphere is really nice, and above all, the prices are fair! The cocktail cost €5, and the summer tea cost €2.50. So, the prices are excellent compared to other places.

05/03/2026: Excellent restaurant for homemade Sicilian food. Very good, a wide variety of dishes at a good price. Super fast service. Looking forward to returning!

04/03/2026: Following the B&B owner's recommendation, we came here for dinner on the first night of our stay in Palermo. We ordered a half portion of Palina sardines, a portion of anchovies, and a half portion of minced meat. Given that a half portion is equivalent to a full portion in restaurants elsewhere in Italy, we unfortunately left out half the anchovies because there was so much of it, so much. The quality was truly excellent; you could see and taste the fresh, homemade cooking. For our second course, we ordered grilled swordfish and sardine meatballs, and they were also delicious. What can I say? A rustic and very good place, a great location because it's in the center. Prices? A dream. In 10 years of traveling around Italy, I've never seen such a price for a plate of pasta, and what a plate of pasta... highly recommended, and I can't wait to go back.

09/11/2025: I tried a few individual desserts; the Belgian biscuit and tiramisu ones were delicious! Intense flavor and creamy texture. Prices are moderately low.

21/09/2025: A welcoming and well-kept bar, with friendly staff and excellent coffee. The desserts and ice cream are also excellent, ideal for a pleasant break at any time.

16/09/2025: We passed by here on our way to our hotel, and stopped for something to eat. We had roast chicken, and the owner gave us a complimentary 66cl beer. The chicken came with fries, mignon, and roast potatoes. Huge portions of side dishes. Price: €14. Good chicken, excellent side dishes.

17/09/2025: The restaurant is located inside a municipal park. It should be undergoing a renovation as it's a bit dated. You have to order when your order is ready; they call you to pick it up at the counter. There's no table service; you get your pizza in a takeout box, plastic cutlery, and that's it. The pizza is well-made with good toppings. All in all, if there aren't many frills, it's okay.

11/03/2026: A flawless stay at Do House in Castelbuono. The property is beautiful, clean, and meticulously maintained, in a perfect location for enjoying the village. ​Special thanks to the owner, Domenico: a delightful and incredibly helpful person, his advice was invaluable for discovering the best of the area. Sicilian hospitality at its finest. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

28/02/2026: A lovely pub in the center of Castelbuono, near Piazza Margherita, with friendly service and truly excellent cocktails! The kids said the fries were delicious 😄.

10/11/2025: The chicken was delicious; I've never had it so juicy. I recommend it to everyone. 🤩 As for the kebab, it's okay, nothing more, but if you're craving it, don't hesitate. It's a typical fast food place.

26/10/2025: Dinner with colleagues. Delicious kebab, so-so fries, very dry and tough pork shank; I wouldn't recommend it. Cold grilled vegetables. No table service, a real bummer. And finally, I was blown away by the restrooms; avoid them anyway.

19/02/2026: Microwaved food, poor portions, TV with an Italian "wheel of fortune." Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. And I wouldn't rely on positive reviews without any information. P.S. When I ordered the seafood pasta, part of the bow tie was empty, and the other part was closed.
