27/09/2025: I was here with some friends and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. You can order food until late in the evening. We had grilled meats and two types of appetizers. We were very happy with both the quality of the food and the speed of delivery. We will definitely be back.

28/10/2025: Authentic Trattoria in the heart of the Vucciria market, with mostly local clientele, fresh dishes, including pasta with sea urchin, very friendly and sympathetic staff including waiters and owner. I brought great friends from Zaragoza and they enjoyed authentic local dishes. Very much recommended in a relaxing atmosphere with no concessions on new decoration, just made for the regular local crowd that come here. You cannot go wrong ordering here

08/11/2025: The fish was NOT fresh and very poorly cooked. The octopus was served on a bed of raw potatoes and no seasoning whatsoever. It's my fault for not checking the reviews before going. I also paid in cash and they said they didn't have change... so I gave it to them. They didn't even have the decency to offer me a coffee or a liqueur. I'm sad that in Sicily, in a seaside place, you can eat so badly and rip off customers like this.
03/11/2025: An excellent restaurant near the harbor. The grilled calamari was excellent and the Sicilian white wine (Grillo) tasted superb.

20/11/2025: Excellent rustic cuisine in a place steeped in history. The restaurant, with pizzeria, was created on a site with over 6 centuries of history. Warhorses: fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms, with wild boar ragù and alla norma (considered by some to be among the best in the province of Palermo). Among the unmissable pizzas is cudduruni, possibly with wholemeal flour from ancient Sicilian grains. Finally, if available, ask for basil ice cream! In summer, book if you want to eat outdoors.

13/11/2025: Passing through Sferracavallo, we called and booked a table for lunch. It was late, and only my wife and I were in the dining room...and no one else.
We ate reasonably well, and we thank the service for not ignoring us and closing the kitchen, but we had higher expectations based on the positive reviews we'd read.
Overall, we were satisfied, and the price was reasonable for what we ate.
But next time I'm here, I'll try something else to make a difference in the buzz about this neighborhood outside Palermo.

28/10/2025: Beautiful to look at from the outside. Depending on the table, the seating in the covered part of the restaurant is a little strange. I had two starters, which were good, but very minimalist. Not much atmosphere inside; it's definitely better outside. High prices. But no cloth napkins!!!
The best thing was the bread!
Staff: Very quick, very polite. Not at all warm.
Would I like to come back here again?
Undecided. Because the experience was lacking.

27/11/2025: The pizza was decent, the kebab was tossed straight away... I understand the frozen product, but paying 15 euros for it and then arriving at the table practically cold because they don't even know how to reheat it. No way... Expensive, in fact very expensive, and taking away the location, it's not worth it given that the poor service is enormous, but perhaps not because of the waiters but because of the lack of them, too few for such a large, packed room.
