23/07/2025: A historic gem in San Martino delle Scale This restaurant, opened in 1953, retains all its traditional charm. Giovanni, the owner, was simply adorable, as were all the staff: welcoming and friendly. Fresh fish, authentic dishes, and an authentic, heart-warming atmosphere. Definitely worth a try!

13/05/2025: Après avoir parcouru la via maqueda et ses nombreux restaurants touristiques, nous avons trouvé un peu à l'écart ce petit restaurant. Super accueil du serveur, qui s'est démené pour nous satisfaire. Les plats sont copieux et délicieux. Mention spéciale pour le " apple caponata " : une tuerie !

The kindness of the staff, the care in the presentation of the dishes, the genuine taste of each dish accompany an informal and stimulating environment. The selection of wines and cocktails prepared with creativity and imagination by Daniele are excellent. Highly recommended.

22/04/2025: Ho pranzato presso il ristorante “a Paranza” a Cefalù proprio ieri in occasione del giorno di Pasquetta. Conoscevamo il ristorante a campofelice di Roccella e siamo ritornati in quanto ci siamo sempre trovati bene. Nota super positiva, che sembra scontata, il pane! Buonissimo, uno dei più buoni mai mangiati… dico sul serio! Il proprietario durante l’attesa ci ha offerto un trancio di pizza con la cipolla e l’acciuga simile allo sfincione. Ottimo, buonissimo !!! Abbiamo ordinato zuppa di cozze, e insalata di mare tutto ottimo. Poi abbiamo ordinato pasta con le vongole, un fritto di paranza, e io ho ordinato un calamaro verace alla griglia ( che era buono, ma un po’ duro). Nel complesso è stata un’ottima esperienza da ripetere perché il cibo è veramente ottimo. La prossima volta verrò per una pizza perché era veramente invitante !!! Grazie ancora al proprietario gentilissimo! A presto

23/08/2025: Four of us found ourselves at this pub in Palermo by chance, looking for a place to have a drink. The waiter kindly directed us to sit down at first, and while we were ordering, another guy and I ordered drinks, while our two girlfriends chose not to order anything. After we ordered, the waiter came back and told us that since we had a reservation at the table for four where he'd seated us without any problems, we'd have to move to a higher table with stools if the girls hadn't ordered anything. We decided to accept and moved to the higher table. Once there, we waited for the arrival of two more missing stools. The waiter came back and informed us that we couldn't sit there because they had no more stools, so to get a drink, we either had to get takeout or the girls had to order. We then decided to order two takeaway cocktails. Once we'd gotten them, we turned around and saw three young men sitting at a high table, and the waiter calmly brought them another stool for the third person. To apologize for the inconvenience, they seated us at another business they own on the next street. What was missing was transparency from the start, making us take unnecessary detours. It was truly ridiculous and in terrible taste.

25/06/2025: English speaking staff and the Granita is refreshing and nice. A good spot to relax in front of the Garibaldi Garden.

17/06/2025: Both the service and quality of ice cream were poor. My server seemed surprised that at the peak of tourist season in Sicily that his customers do not all speak Italian, and impatiently grunted and gesticulated at me when I did not understand him. Ice cream was low quality and overly sweet, lacking depth of flavour. Would not recommend

17/08/2025: A truly sad experience. Terrible service, dirty cutlery upon arrival, and asking to change it seemed truly strange. After we'd eaten our appetizer, they wanted to leave the same cutlery for the pizza even though it had been used with the sauce for the fries, and we had to insist on changing it. The menu has several, actually many, dishes that aren't available; the waiter basically made us understand that it was either this or nothing. This pizzeria used to be famous for the quality of its dough, now the dough is unique, and I ate a raw, soft, and flavorless pizza. What a shame.

14/07/2025: A shameful place! A disgrace to call an Italian restaurant that serves bruschetta, focaccia, or platters. Anyone going to Palermo should stay away from this shameful place. Insects in the plate! Unsanitary.

I was invited to play here, but once I arrived, I was told at the last minute that I couldn’t perform, with no clear explanation. Considering there was a verbal agreement, I found this behavior unprofessional and disrespectful. It’s a shame, because the neighboring venues were much more welcoming and fair. I’m a musician and I perform in restaurants and venues across Sicily. I was invited to play here, but once I arrived, I was told at the last minute that I couldn’t perform, with no clear explanation.
