09/10/2025: I haven't eaten this well in a long time. The service was excellent. Absolutely recommend it.

08/10/2025: An awesome dinner on our last night in Sicily - so pleased we made the trip from Cefalu. Our favourite meal experience of the holiday. Knock out food, exceptional service, incredibly knowledgeable, fun, kind team who went out of their way for us. Massively recommend all the food - ragu pasta, caponata, slow cooked pork, tomato and mushroom salads, and the coffee! On leaving we realised we had a flat tyre (11pm)….within five mins the owner, one of the waiters and a local customer were changing our tyre and had us en route home! Couldn’t recommend enough! Full of diners on a Tuesday evening, who seemed local/regulars. Bustling the whole evening. We’d love to visit again to stay and try lunch. Must visit!

04/10/2025: Nestled in a charming corner of Piano Battaglia, this restaurant is a real surprise. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is perfect after a walk in the woods. The traditional and authentic dishes reflect the flavors of the mountains: fresh mushrooms, local cheeses, and delicious meats. A place you'll want to return just to savor those authentic flavors again. Highly recommended!

14/10/2025: Thanks to the dedicated staff, we enjoyed an exceptionally delicious late-night dinner at Via Roma. The appetizers were fantastic – sardines and caprese. The main courses were pizza with pistachio cheese and the perfectly prepared dish of the day – shrimp with dumplings in a citrus sauce! The prices were excellent. The service was excellent and friendly. We highly recommend it!

25/09/2025: The pizza is simply indescribable, the best ever! The place is welcoming and meticulously maintained, and the staff is incredibly friendly and fast. More than just a dinner, it's a top-notch culinary experience. Highly recommended!

03/10/2025: A lovely dinner at L’Anciova, a small, charming neighborhood restaurant right near Porto Carini, the entrance to the Capo Market. We started with caponata and sardine meatballs, followed swordfish along with a crisp catarratto. Our food was very good but the pizzas being served all around us looked outstanding!

01/10/2025: We went this week as a group of five for dinner and loved it. The service was very friendly, and all the dishes we ordered, all different, were delicious. The day I return to Palermo, I'll definitely go back! I recommend it!

21/09/2025: I chose this restaurant because it was listed in the Michelin Guide, but I was very disappointed. The welcome was warm, and given the beautiful day, we chose to eat in the courtyard. As for the dishes we chose (both recommended by the server), the mushrooms in the first course were very fresh and delicious but cooked in a banal way, and in the second course, the pork in a crust was cold and tough. When they saw the untouched dish, they insisted I try it again, but in the second course, the pork was also undercooked: this time, it was hot but raw inside, so I left it on the plate. I was not at all satisfied. In my opinion, this restaurant is not worthy of being included in the Michelin Guide. Good, but not overly so!

04/10/2025: Pizzas were very watery, lacking strong flavour. It was super busy at night, waiting for food more than 30-40 min. And I got upcharged 2 Euro more because they made a mistake (or on purpose?) so it was a bit disappointing. Also they charged 2 Euro table service even if you wait 30min just sitting. Overall, i think this place might be good when it is not busy, but once they hit their capacity they seems to struggle with quality

27/09/2025: Typical and welcoming place. Quick and friendly staff and service. Disappointing food. Sardine meatballs with a coarse and poorly mixed mixture, the sardines were not boned. Fried food was greasy and salty. Too bad.

18/10/2025: I've bought rustica pizza several times, but I've noticed it's not what it used to be. The tomatoes are still on, and the toppings are completely different. Whoever used to make rustica pizza has definitely retired. One thing's for sure: I won't buy it again.

I don't know why, but apparently I looked very cold, so the owner came over and brought me a fleece cape☺️ One point deducted for the ambiance because the lighting in the tent is chalky white.

11/10/2025: I ended up at Gustoriana in Mondello "just for a drink"... and of course I didn't want to leave. The Long Island was so well made I started to think I was in Miami (spoiler: I was still in Mondello, but happy anyway). The owner is a rare kindness—the kind who makes you laugh while serving you, and in the end you find yourself toasting with him as if you'd been friends forever. Perfect place for those looking for good cocktails, good company, and a healthy dose of Sicilian irony.
