We stumbled upon this restaurant last autumn. We would fly to Palermo just for it any time. A gem of modern Italian cuisine, far from the tourist crowds. We still dream about it.

Very calm and organized restaurant. Food is awesome and some very well paired wines. We came here twice and had different meals. All very very high quality. We will be back. Very recommended.

Exceptional. They use the freshest, carefully selected ingredients and Slow Food Presidia. We opted for fish dishes, accompanied by two glasses of dry Zibibbo (a real treat) recommended by the meître d'. I highly recommend trying it. Top!

ristorante il Carretto

15/03/2026: A small restaurant located in the center of Cefalù, with very helpful, attentive, and welcoming staff. We tried the Sicilian octopus salad and eggplant caponata as appetizers: good, though not particularly generous. The house "Al Carretto" first course was decidedly more generous, with mussels, tomatoes, and seasonal vegetables: a tasty and successful combination. Prices are in line with the average for Cefalù restaurants. Highly recommended!
