I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and the food is excellent! One of the best in Palermo, far from the tourist traps. I highly recommend Saveurs Sicilienes. The chef circulates among the tables and chats easily; he told us that his mother was the one who cooked.

5 stars, lot's of gluten free home made fresh pasta dishes. Had an amazing gnocchi gluten free with a delicious sauce! Try it!!

The best pasta we’ve had in Palermo, we ordered 3 between 2 as we couldn’t choose and we were blown away. The gnocchi had a good level of spice, the ragu in the ravioli was tender and full of flavour and the alla Norma was simple but unbelievable. The rosé was also very nice, would recommend. If we were staying another night in Palermo then we would eat here again but we’re glad we discovered this place on our last night. It’s a lovely family run restaurant as well so make sure you visit - they also have gluten free options if you need them!

A real treat! I ordered a seafood risotto, and it was exquisite. The ingredients are top-quality and leave an incredible taste in your mouth. Don't go to Palermo without visiting this restaurant. A perfect romantic moment!

The Ambasciatori restaurant

08/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The location is truly beautiful, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. We'll definitely be back.
12/04/2026: Recommended restaurant; I'd heard good things about it, tried it, and approved. The service is excellent like few others, a trend that's becoming increasingly rare in the restaurant industry. The maitre d' will look after you and give you impeccable advice. Simple, excellent traditional cuisine, everything fresh. An experience worth repeating.
