19/07/2026: I only tried the lactose-free ice cream at this place. I was very pleased! I tried three flavors: pistachio, strawberry, and dark chocolate (sugar-free). All the flavors were excellent, but my favorite was the pistachio; I went back for a second serving. 😋
You can also order gluten-free brioche ice cream.
16/07/2026: July 2026: Tried both the granita and gelato today. It was fabulous and natural.
The mulberry was fantastic.!!

09/08/2026: Always welcoming and courteous! Always ready to offer samples of their specialties! Their panettone is among the best on the market: it stays soft and full of flavor for a long time!
The spreads are exceptional! Especially the pistachio and coffee ones!
And what about the variety of almond pastries!? Aesthetically appealing, different in shape and ingredients (hazelnuts, walnuts, pine nuts, jam, pistachios, chocolate...), they all have one thing in common (besides almonds! 😅): they're incredibly delicious! 😋😋😋
A must-visit every time I go to Castelbuono! ❤️

05/08/2026: This might seem like the usual biased review, but we went to this place last night and it was a truly exceptional experience. Besides the dishes, all excellent, the waiters and owner were super kind and cheerful. The prices were in line with what we ate. This place deserves a special mention.
26/07/2026: Highly recommended! Excellent food, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and always available.
We only had four nights in Bagheria, and we returned twice: I think that says it all. If you're in the area, it's a must-visit!

24/05/2026: I had high expectations for the dinner I booked at Trattoria Corona, and they were fully met. The menu features typical Sicilian dishes, mostly seafood, and the wine list is excellent, with local labels and a few gems from outside the region. The Slow Food award is well deserved. I'd definitely recommend it again and again. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

15/05/2026: Finally, a restaurant that offers high-quality vegan cuisine while still being inclusive of omnivores and other dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free).
I found everything, absolutely everything, incredibly good and authentic: from the appetizers, to the first course, to the main course, all the way to dessert.
Beyond the dishes, the staff and the ambiance are also exceptional.
It was a wonderful all-round experience. I'll be back!
15/05/2026: For those who love to travel and eat well, there are evenings worth an entire trip. This evening I had a special experience thanks to a fantastic chef and his team: a team that's never intrusive, truly moved by the joy of their guests.
The cuisine expresses a powerful personality. In addition to tasting the best octopus of my life, I was impressed by the vast and meticulously curated selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. It's haute cuisine that includes everyone, without distinction or compromise on flavor.
The chef probably focuses more on pleasing his guests than on awards, but the quality of the research and the soul of this cuisine speak for themselves: I hope these dishes earn a Michelin star soon. Well-deserved.

31/07/2026: While on holiday in Palermo, we stumbled upon this place on our first day. We ate there several times! A pure delight every time, quick service and very pleasant staff. If I return to Palermo, I will definitely eat there again!
27/07/2026: A must-try if you're going to Palermo. It doesn't look like much, but the food is excellent. Without a doubt, the best panelle e crocche in Palermo.
I highly recommend it.

12/07/2026: An excellent experience at I Sapori del Mare Restaurant! The freshest seafood dishes were carefully prepared and rich in flavor. The staff was welcoming, kind, and always attentive to our needs. The red shrimp, mussels with almonds, and squid ink tagliolini with red shrimp tartare were all excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner with friends. Excellent value. If you're looking for a good seafood restaurant in Palermo, I definitely recommend it!

The dough is excellent, but the filling ingredients are a little less so. I would have expected something more.
The prices are a bit high for a pinsa, but that's become standard in Rimini.

19/05/2026: We had the most lovely meal at Il Carretto.
The service was so friendly, they were helpful with the menu in explaining the dishes including the specials.
The prices are very reasonable and the portions are decent.
We had eggplant meatballs for starters which were so tasty.
For mains I had the Spaghetti with muscles which had a great amount of muscles and a delicious flavour.
We did not have room for dessert but I’d be keen to go back to see what they offer!
Highly recommend this restaurant which is in a nice quiet location with beautiful views of the church tower up the alley way.
