18/12/2025: My partner and I have visited the restaurant several times, and each time has been a pleasant surprise. Chef Gaetano Varco constantly creates new dishes based on his culinary imagination, and he even shared a sampling with us. On the first occasion, he personally selected our menu based on our tastes, and we were delighted. Nowadays, when we think of a restaurant that also guarantees quality with the freshest fish, we can't help but choose it.

08/02/2026: Went to the farm with the family and a 18month old and couldn't be happier. The care and attentiveness, it was a really good experience. Was taken around the animals where we could enter the pens and was lovely to see my toddler get so close and be able to interact. Highly recommend!!

01/05/2026: Beautifully decorated restaurant, in a small alley near the shopping street (Via Turisi). Delicious antipasti, excellent pasta dishes, and the main courses were also very tasty. Extensive wine selection. Excellent service. A noisy crowd, but oh well, it is Italy after all. But if I may offer a few tips: 1. Invest in coffee cups instead of cardboard cups 2. Invest in wine glasses (large red wine glasses) 3. Enforce the smoking ban, even for the boss's friends who vape!

26/04/2026: We had lunch here today and it was a truly wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed and carefully advised on our choice of dishes. Once we arrived, everything was delicious: from the starters to the main course, every course was a pleasant surprise. Definitely a place we'll return to!

15/04/2026: Best bakery in Palermo!! We were here every day and there wasn't a single disappointment. Everything is incredibly delicious, from pastries to arancini to coffee. This place simply does it all. If you're looking for a bakery, this is the best in town!

09/05/2026: A fantastic place. We've been twice. One day just for drinks because we weren't hungry. The lady encouraged us to try the food, so we returned for dinner the next day. What a great idea! I'm a pretty good cook, but the pasta and salads the owner's daughter made us were, in my opinion, the best I've ever had. They also paired us with a great wine. Finally, we had tiramisu, which literally melted in our mouths. The owner's live music adds to the atmosphere of this place. It's a shame we're leaving because we'd eat there every day. Don't think it's just a pub. It's a wonderful restaurant. The prices? Very reasonable for the food and portion sizes. For three courses, a bottle of wine, a drink, and dessert, €77 is a bargain.

05/05/2026: My first time..I ate well, friendly staff

13/04/2026: 6 adults and 3 children, à la carte menu (meat only). 1 appetizer for 4 (the only redeeming feature), 7 first courses, 1 second course, and 2 mixed roasts (one portion was for 2), a box of sweet treats we didn't order, and 4 coffees (which could have been offered for the price!) totaled €240. A ripoff!!! I have to say, the appetizer was good, but everything else left a lot to be desired! The first courses were bland and tasteless (the vegetables in the sauce were practically boiled, and the meat in the ragù was almost nonexistent). The grilled meat was dry and lacking in salt, and wasn't quite as plentiful as we'd been told. It was incredibly annoying to have to pay for something we didn't order. I don't eat sweets, and personally, I wouldn't have ordered anything. Equally annoying was the owner, who dared to call us back because we'd given the phone to the kids (for a very short time, I might add), telling us how wrong it was. For the rest I won't add anything else except that I don't recommend it and that I will never set foot in there again!

06/04/2026: The pasta was tasty, but the portions were quite small. It was very cold in the restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive.

25/11/2025: Too expensive for the quality of food they serve. The portions aren't generous, and side dishes are extra. 6 euros for a side of baked potatoes is quite pricey, especially since they weren't good. The rest was fine, but I've eaten much cheaper, with more generous portions and better quality food elsewhere in Palermo.

17/05/2026: I had the pleasure of having lunch with my son at this family-friendly, homey restaurant, welcomed with genuine warmth by the staff who truly care about their customers. The cuisine was excellent, using fresh, local ingredients. We ordered pasta with sardines, pasta alla norma, fried calamari, meatballs, and Sicilian cannoli. Everything was delicious and the prices were truly fair. Well, the next day we returned with our friends. The talented chef offered us freshly baked mushrooms: excellent! And what can we say? 15/05/2026: Authentic Sicily! Spaghetti with sardines: perfect, flavorful, and balanced. Paired with an excellent local wine. Welcoming atmosphere, fair prices. Definitely worth a try!
