01/10/2025: I stayed at this campsite and had a wonderful time! The prefabricated cabins are truly charming, meticulously designed and equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. A welcoming and functional environment, perfect for both a short stay and a longer vacation. The staff was extremely kind and always available, ready to meet every need with a smile. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for relaxation, comfort, and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

19/07/2025: Locale pulito e dotato di impianto di condizionamento rinfrescante ma non invadente (cosa più che gradita col clima di Palermo in estate, non proprio tutti ce l’hanno) Piatti in ceramica tipici siciliani arredamento semplice ed elegante. Il cibo qua é ottimo ed i prezzi sono modici, se prendete la pasta attenzione sono 200 g di piatto! Ottima! Ma molto abbondante. Abbiamo preso 4 antipasti tutti da 10 e lode buonissimi. Caponata e parmigiana d’obbligo! Ma anche primo sale con acciughe e sarde a beccafico erano eseguiti a regola d’arte. I secondi: calamaro alla griglia senza infamia né lode, fritto misto buono. Il servizio, in particolare il ragazzo che ha servito noi é stata l’unica nota dolente, sembrava essere lì per caso girava per la sala con fare svogliato e non esaudiva nessuna delle richieste che gli abbiamo fatto, ne ci ha voluto prendere l’ordinazione ( ‘arriva la ragazza’ ma intanto non chiama nessuna ragazza e sono passati 20 minuti) ne ha notato che mancasse un coltello ne alla nostra richiesta ce lo porta. Abbiamo dovuto chiederlo 3 volte. A parte il servizio da migliorare rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, antipasti in media 5 euro e primi in media 8 euro per dei piatti della tradizione eseguiti molto bene. Da tornarci!

16/07/2025: 40’ di attesa e ci sta non avendo prenotato, ma quando si è liberato il tavolo per noi 4 (io, mia moglie e due ragazzi di 15 e 12 anni) la “signora” proprietaria ha deciso, tra lo stupore anche delle sue dipendenti, di assegnare il tavolo all’amica appena arrivata. A quel punto l’ho salutata, andando via, ma lei, probabilmente con la coda di paglia, ha continuato ad inveire dalla porta del suo locale, blaterando ad alta voce di vecchie prenotazioni, educazione e comportamenti scorretti, proprio lei, maestra di stile nel mangiare in faccia ai clienti che aspettano senza nemmeno rispondere al telefono. Classica sceneggiata palermitana, forse. Si mangerà anche bene (e lo abbiamo provato qualche anno fa), ma in quanto ad educazione ed accoglienza è da 0 punti. Meglio una delle seicento trattorie meno quotate, ma con personale gentile ed amichevole

13/12/2025: We were there in December as a couple; the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. No waiting or queuing. The service was a bit slow. Nevertheless, highly recommended. We'd come back anytime.

13/12/2025: Great food! I had fortunate pleasure of staying next door so got to try different dishes. As a group ordered the tapas but seafood and meat version. Some of the seafood could go without. Had the local specialty pasta a taianu which was worthwhile to try. Wholesome dish. Came back for the pistachio cream ravioli. I love cream but this was on the rich side for me. Can still be good for some. Great nutty flavor in the sauce tho. Luckily I stayed next door so didn’t have to wait in line too much as had the comfort of own place. But during popular dinner hours of 630-7pm this gets a long line. And I went in October. Not sure what line would be like during peak summer

08/12/2025: Definitely a delicious Palermo-style rotisserie with a wide variety of flavors. The portions are generous; you can have lunch for two for €5. The selection is also extensive, but the place is truly borderline. Four stars for the average.

05/12/2025: A historic Palermo restaurant, located right in the city center since 1890, it represents the quintessential food and wine culture, particularly its selection of "bolliti." This is a traditional Italian dish, usually served in winter, made with meat (often a mix of beef, veal, or chicken) and vegetables, slowly cooked in boiling broth. In addition to the aforementioned dishes, the menu also features many local specialties, featuring a simple and deliberately "rough" approach, alternating according to the seasonality of the ingredients used. The dishes are carefully crafted and presented in a pleasant, clean, and simple manner. The wine list is comprehensive overall, with little reference to the Metodo Classico, perhaps a business decision aimed at a tourist crowd. Charismatic figures include chef/owner Romeres, an excellent professional but also a scholar of Palermo's food and wine history, and his wife Marisa, a very sweet, affable, discreet, yet present and indispensable lady at the reception. The service is attentive, friendly, and attentive, and is also committed to meeting any customer request. The location has remained unchanged over the years, with a subtle retro feel, starting with their sign, which embodies a blend of an inn and an old tavern. The three interior rooms are filled with photos and vintage furnishings, reflecting a passionate professional journey undertaken by grandfather Salvatore Catanese, a legacy passed down to the latest generation, his grandchildren Ada, Gaetano, and his wife Marisa. Excellent value for money, especially thanks to The Fork's 30% discount.

29/11/2025: Very good pizzas with creative combinations and presentation. The restaurant is frequented mostly by tourists. Price and quality are perfectly fine. The ambiance is more of a simple IKEA style than a typical Italian one.

10/11/2025: After a few days in Sicily and enjoying plenty of fresh fish, we were craving meat. Il Salumaio is THE place to go. The meat was absolutely delicious. The sides were too. The starter, an assortment of cured meats with a small salad and burrata topped with truffle slices, was a delight. Efficient and friendly service. We highly recommend it.
