04/06/2026: A lovely restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. The service was impeccable, and even though we were a group of 12, we didn't have to wait at all. To top it all off, the meal was delicious. From fish dishes to pasta and risotto, it was flawless. A place to recommend without hesitation to any friends visiting Cefalù.

18/05/2026: A wonderful experience at Porta Ossuna! The restaurant is located on the Cefalù seafront and boasts an incredible view. It's a place with meticulous attention to detail. Our experience was made even more beautiful by the spectacular sunset you can see directly from the restaurant. We started with an appetizer of incredibly fresh and delicious fish, including oysters, salmon, tuna, tartare, fried fish, and much more. For our first course, we had a chitarrino with red shrimp and cherry tomatoes, which was simply spectacular. For our second course, we had salmon served with saffron purée and toasted almonds, delicate and perfectly balanced; a tuna fillet with red onion; and an octopus with grilled vegetables, truly exceptional and beautifully presented. All accompanied by a delicious wine, the Montalto rosé. We ended the dinner in the best possible way with a delicate mango cheesecake, an incredible berry tiramisu, and a local amaro. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, the service is attentive, and the quality is top notch. A restaurant that truly deserves it! 🩵

17/05/2026: We came for a drinks, already said that for a drinks, and then they asked us to leave if we don’t eat anything. We end up with a plastic cups in our hands and huge rush to leave just because they needed our table to be empty. Pathetic

29/12/2025: Simple but sooooo delicious! Food is fresh, well seasoned, well cooked and served with care. Espresso is strong and flavorful - exactly what you need in the sunny morning in Palermo. Highly recommended!

23/08/2025: One of the best places to eat croissants, iris, and gelato! We've been to this pastry shop several times and everything was always fresh and delicious. The iris with ricotta in particular is fantastic! There are only a few products on display at the counter to ensure freshness, so we started ordering after the first visit. Highly recommended. 02/06/2026: Showed up on a holiday with friends, half expecting to be turned away. We got seated before they were even open. The sunset views were stunning and each course was delicious 😋 couldn't ask for a better night.

28/04/2026: The restaurant is located at the entrance to the charming village. It's truly characteristic: the exterior is shaped like a castle, hence the name, and the interior is full of themed memorabilia, including a portrait of the bandit Giuliano, whose house is nearby and can be visited by reservation (very interesting). We had lunch on a beautiful veranda overlooking the village. Even though it was a holiday and the restaurant was packed, we ate really well. All traditional Sicilian dishes: the appetizer was excellent, featuring fried patellas, flavorful vegetables, sfincione, meatballs, savory mushrooms, local cheeses, and cured meats. The first course was delicious paccheri topped with yellow squash, sausage paste, and pistachios. The second course was excellent, featuring delicious local meat (sausage, roulade, toasted slice) with baked potatoes. To finish, a razor clam and an excellent coffee. Excellent value. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

01/04/2026: THIS REVIEW IS TO BRING ATTENTION TO AN UNPLEASANT INCIDENT The restaurants on Viale Strasburgo and Via Paternostro in Palermo, despite advertising on The Fork the possibility of using Yums to obtain a €20 discount, first accepted and then canceled reservations twice recently. Beyond the insult of losing the expiring Yums, I would like to highlight the behavior of the restaurant manager, especially the one on Viale Strasburgo, who confirmed reservations at 5:33 PM and then canceled at 6:40 PM. I have nothing to say about the manager's behavior, as, according to The Fork rules, he is entitled to free will, but a reputable platform like The Fork cannot allow such incidents, especially on expiration dates for the very products and/or discounts that they themselves advertise and offer. Finally, I hope to always be a welcome guest in a restaurant where I have always eaten well.

25/04/2026: After choosing Joshua Restaurant as the venue for my 40th birthday party, I can confirm it was a fantastic choice! Everything was perfect; they supported me throughout the planning process and accommodated all my requests. The staff was incredibly kind, and the food was not only excellent but also plentiful. The venue is beautiful, offering a great meal surrounded by a well-kept garden where even the children could play safely. All my guests had a great time and complimented me on my choice. I also really appreciate the attention they paid to those with intolerances or allergies. What more can I say? I highly recommend it to everyone, and I would choose it again a thousand times over! Also because it's easy to get to and reasonably priced, with high-quality food and service, which was also fast and precise. Thank you so much to all the staff at Joshua Restaurant!

21/12/2025: Wonderful location, friendly staff, attentive maître d', always ready to resolve any unexpected issues, Roberto and Silvia were fantastic and always available, delicious food, I could go on and on... We couldn't have chosen a better setting for our wedding. It's a shame we can only give 5 stars... If I could do it again, I would definitely choose you again!
