13/04/2026: The worst dinner we've had in Palermo. We paid €50 for one plate of gnocchi, one of ravioli, and two beers. Excessively expensive, the portions were tiny, and the food was bland. You're better off finding somewhere else to eat.

09/04/2026: I regret having to give a low rating because the staff is made up of young and visibly dedicated people, but the overall experience was unfortunately disappointing. The underlying problem is the completely unbalanced quality-price ratio: the cuisine is at the level of a good trattoria (but no better), without anything to justify the final bill. The real sore point is the wine cellar management. It's my fault; I usually avoid restaurants that don't allow you to consult the wine list and its prices before booking, but this time I made an exception and paid dearly. The markup on bottles is unjustifiable: tripling the price of wines commonly found on the market at modest prices is shortsighted. Perhaps my opinion is influenced by a comparison with a very high-quality dinner I had the previous evening (also reviewed), but the disproportion remains objective. At first, I considered leaving it at that, but thinking back on how much I paid for that wine, I felt compelled to leave some feedback. The staff's commitment is commendable, but cost management and the quality of the offerings need a radical overhaul. Right now, it's definitely too expensive for what they offer. EDIT (after reply) Thanks for your reply, but I need to make two clarifications. First: In my text, I never mentioned price differences compared to the menu—I explicitly stated that the problem was the lack of a wine list that could be consulted before booking, not during dinner. Your reply addresses something I didn't say. Second: The argument about bottle availability misses the point. Consulting a wine list with prices isn't useful for checking a single label: it's useful for understanding the restaurant's markup policy before deciding whether to book. This is information the customer has the right to have in advance.

29/05/2026: We only had cocktails and stuzzichini (fried cheese), but this place was fun. The vibes are just right, especially if you’re looking for a place less-touristy. It’s clearly a locals joint but is hip and bustling with good energy, laughter, and conversation. 8€ for classic cocktails that were right on point. The place leaves you feeling energized by the collective joy of all the patrons and doggos.

29/04/2026: A hidden gem with excellent pastries and clearly a local hotspot. If you’re at all in the neighborhood make sure you pop in and try the delicious Genovesi Ericine ! Staff are friendly and although they don’t all speak anything other than Italian you can get by with just pointing to what you want. Very decent prices, we bought a pastry, two bottles of water and two cans of lemonade for just 7 euros.

19/05/2026: Initially thinking of eating pizza but we walked by this beautiful place and decided to try it out. In short, pure ingredients, lovely sweetvl oranges, fresh fennel in the salad, gnocchi that is actually light and easy to eat and my pasta was so smooth... lastly, the chocolate and pistachio dessert was delicious and texture wise on point. Only one dissonant, it took quite awhile to get our our orders to the table... and it was definitely not busy. Still, highly recommended.

10/05/2026: The catch of the day was absolutely remarkable: a grouper cooked to perfection, exceptionally fresh. The pink shrimp and scorpionfish sashimi were outstanding! The wine was unique and worth cellaring. A true discovery to share.

11/05/2026: A typical Sicilian trattoria immersed in tranquility. The interior, decorated with antique utensils, exudes a homely atmosphere. Warm hospitality. Traditional food. The meatballs are delicious. They have a traditional dish made with both savory and sweet bread. Definitely worth a try.

10/05/2026: It's difficult to rate, we probably didn't come at the best time. On Mondays, all the restaurants in the city are closed, so we went here, looking forward to the good pizza that was written about in the reviews. After arriving at the empty restaurant, we were told that there was no pizza. Normally I would have gone elsewhere, but there was nowhere to go. We sat down and chose from a rather poor menu. After a long wait (in an empty restaurant), I was told that what I had chosen was also not there. To be fair, the food wasn't bad. The pasta was good, large portions, the sausage was good. However, the price was completely out of line. As my girlfriend said: The most expensive sausage I've ever eaten. What personally upset me the most was the fact that after we were told: "no pizza", a local came twenty minutes later and picked up about five ready-made pizzas. The atmosphere was very strange, the room had no windows, we were the only customers there, sometimes they played music for us. Plus a service charge worth almost half of the bill. For what? For not being able to serve us right away even in an empty restaurant? For not having half of the menu? Maybe just for the friendly behavior of the staff, but that's not enough. I'm happy to pay for good service, but it has to be good.

26/04/2026: We arrived and were seated immediately, but we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food. There were tables that were seated after us, and their food arrived first. The food was good; we ordered three pizzas (one tuna and two ham and cheese) and a bottle of water. They were quite good, and we also ordered some chips. The total came to €40. The quality was good for the price, but there's nowhere to park, and all the parking is paid, so the food was actually more expensive because we would have had to pay for parking.

16/04/2026: Instead of a lamb chop, I received three tiny lamb shanks, each measuring 3x4cm. Outrageous! 22 euros for 50 grams; the rest was bone and flax.

13/03/2026: The mixed hot starter is really of terrible quality, a poor frozen product, in 20 minutes for two people we spent €50 and when I asked for two chips I was told that after 8pm they don't give you anything

18/12/2025: Extensive menu including vegetarian and vegan options, top-notch products, excellent service, and exceptional value. I visited several times during my two-week stay and couldn't find any flaws or niggles in the service or food. For example, one evening my table was wobbly, and I didn't even have to ask. The waiter immediately fixed the problem within 20 seconds. Awesome experience, highly recommended!

18/12/2025: Excellent place for luxury dining! A beautiful, beautifully decorated pizzeria, well-maintained, and welcoming. Perfect for family meals and even for hosting dinners with colleagues, as we did. Delicious dishes where you're spoiled for choice, revisited dishes, and sublime classics. The pizza is a dream, but the crunch is also top-notch! The pizza peel is excellent. I really appreciate the vegan and vegetarian pizzas, definitely a plus. The desserts are spectacular; I tried everything on the menu and couldn't find a single flaw, like a fine pastry shop! Even the off-menu dessert cup has its own touch; their Sacher panettone is very good. We will definitely be back, thank you.

10/03/2026: The restaurant has two rooms, and as tourists, we were the only ones seated in the area facing the street. The pasta was fine, but I wouldn't return for it. The service was excellent. We didn't try the fish dishes.

24/12/2025: We visited this pastry shop last weekend, and I ate delicious desserts, as well as other savory treats, truly unique. But the real highlight was the artisanal panettone, purchased on the owner's recommendation and enjoyed at home. A surprise! I've never tasted panettone like this! The plain one and the pistachio cream-filled one were a delight! One-of-a-kind! I highly recommend buying them!
