25/10/2025: A true Palermo gem and the best cannoli I’ve ever had!
I visited Panificio Putano twice in one day that’s how good it was! In the morning, I stopped in for a couple of sweet biscuits that were absolutely delicious. Later that evening, I couldn’t resist coming back for a cannoli… and honestly, it might have been the best of my life.
It was filled right in front of me with fresh ricotta light, creamy, and perfectly sweet. You can really taste the care and tradition in every bite. If you’re in Palermo, don’t miss this spot for an authentic local treat. I’ll be dreaming about that cannoli for a long time!

19/10/2025: We had a lovely evening in this bar. The service was very welcoming from the moment we arrived. We ate and drank well and the atmosphere was great. The very friendly owner even lent us a corkscrew the next day (we were renting accommodation very close by). I recommend it without hesitation.
28/09/2025: Excellent location, special thanks to Alessandro for hosting Mary and I, along with our post-wedding guests. It was a wonderful evening with great music, polite and friendly staff, excellent food, and it ended late at night, just as we expected.

08/10/2025: This tiny cafe and bar doesn’t look like much from the street, but the cornetti are the finest I tasted in Palermo. I enjoyed a delicious coffee, friendly service and a bit of Italian banter every day for the duration of my course at nearby Scuola Lingua Siciliana. Grazie mille!

25/10/2025: Lovely cafe across the square from where we were staying. The lady running the place is very sweet and patient, even with a rude customer who was in line before us. She serves sweet and savoury pastries, be sure to arrive early to get what you want. Try the fresh orange juice too
21/10/2025: A real authentic sicilian coffee place - perfect for breakfast. Cutest staff and amazing croissants and freshly pressed orange juice. Was about 8€ pp. including a cappuccino. 😍

11/09/2025: Delicious coffee and good pastries to go with it. We went there for breakfast every day we were visiting Palermo. The atmosphere was very pleasant and modern.
26/08/2025: CICI coffee and drink bar in Palermo, very convieniently located near Lolli Train is really like a home from home. Both Fabio the owner and his colleague Massimo were both exceptionally efficient and friendly. This bar is of an extremely high standard both the wine and the coffee and the breakfast. The soft Music quietate playing in the background made having a cup of coffee or a glass of wine a most pleasurable experience. It was of the highest standard possibile and both gentleman always seems to have a smile on their faces. If I return to Palermo, it will be one of the first places that I will revisit.

11/11/2025: For a tasting menu proposal, politely suggested (or pushed) by the waitress, the chef's visit at the end of the meal is appreciated. In this case, almost obligatory, especially since there were only two tables. Anyway, we had a good time.

They make exceptional almond paste desserts, and their savory baked goods are also a must-try.
There are plenty of outdoor seating.
The waiters seem a bit aloof, but they're professional and friendly.
