14/08/2025: A random stop on the catacombs route. Very good home cooking, wonderful hospitality. And all for a small fee! A must-try!

13/08/2025: We stopped for dinner and ordered several dishes to try as many as possible. Everything was delicious, but our favorites were the spleen sandwich (cooked on the spot) and the meatballs in tomato sauce (truly special).

25/08/2025: Nice but nothing special....its two stars are equal to the structure....the lack of an elevator is not a positive factor. The property is managed by many young people, and this gives it a fresh feel. The cleanliness of the rooms was not optimal; in fact, in the week we were there, they never vacuumed them. There was always hair on the floor and sand in the shower. The bed was only made up roughly. The lack of a refrigerator in the room...at least they could have mentioned that in the room descriptions. I won't be returning to this property!!!!!

22/08/2025: This property is run by Daniela, a true hospitality expert, always available for anything. The food is excellent, and the location is great. There's also free parking. We had a great time. I highly recommend it.

19/08/2025: The best rotisserie chicken in the city, hands down! 3 stars because the location and air conditioning could be better. They make up for it with friendly, always smiling service. They should make the menu more readable: 1/2 chicken and 2/4 chicken, which could and does cause confusion.

23/08/2025: A great place for lunch. You can eat in the square just across the street, in a lovely shaded area. A very quiet spot, away from the hustle and bustle.

08/09/2025: On Saturday, September 6th, we celebrated my nephew's baptism. Naturally, we booked this place because we'd already tried it; well, everything was superb! The dinner was fresh and perfectly cooked, the staff was very attentive and punctual, the place was clean, and the owners were always courteous and helpful!

03/09/2025: A historic restaurant in Bagheria, located on the top floor of the building that houses the Hotel Centrale, overlooking Piazza Sepolcro, you'll find excellent traditional cuisine and an excellent pizzeria, always using fresh ingredients. The pizza chef is among the best in Italy. The view of the square from its terrace is truly beautiful, even if you don't dine outside. It's also a popular venue for banquets and special occasions. I highly recommend it. Accessed through the Hotel Centrale entrance, go upstairs and you'll find a lovely Sicilian-style dining room with majolica tiles and frescoes, but what really matters is the food. The staff is always attentive and knowledgeable.

20/08/2025: One of the best Gelato my family and I have had. We ordered 3 gelato each with two different flavors, couldn’t tell you which one was better, all 6 flavors were fresh and delicious

16/06/2025: I have been going to this restaurant for a couple of months and I am satisfied with the quality of the food, especially the dishes reserved for the all you can eat dinner, but lately the service has disappointed me a bit due to some rude behavior by a waitress; other than that, however, I recommend this place for a quality lunch or dinner!

06/09/2025: Nice place with good service, except the waiter was very preoccupied with getting new customers into the restaurant. We had a starter of the meat plate with cheese. Cheese and tomato’s were amazing. But there was only 4 slices of meat. 2 Crudo and 2 Cotto. Next had the Carbonara and pizza with the salami. Pizza was ok but not amazing. Carbonate was impossible to eat - it was so salty that neither of us could eat it. The waiter didn’t seem to care and we still had to pay for it.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the service attentive and friendly, and the pizzas are truly delicious, with a light, easily digestible dough. Thanks to all the staff, always kind and helpful, who helped make the evening even more enjoyable. La Vetrana has become a go-to place for anyone looking to spend a wonderful evening with friends.

11/09/2025: We were disappointed they didn't have pizzas, and they don't understand the concept when you order well done steak you expect it well done, not medium rare, and the meat was not a quality cut, to thick, chewy and full of tendon, the only good part was the mushroom sauce beside steak, so not a really nice dining experience

24/08/2025: Friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism. A historic place in Bagheria, founded by my father and two partners. It's heartwarming to revisit the places of my childhood. Outdoor seating in the summer, and a spacious dining room inside. A quiet and relaxing atmosphere, this is undoubtedly the right choice for those who don't want the chaos of trendy venues. We celebrated a 16th birthday; the table was for seven guests who chose their favorite appetizer, pizza, and soft drink. The cake was brought by us but served at the table by the staff. The bill? A pleasant surprise, more than reasonable. An experience to repeat.

17/08/2025: Super nice place... The staff is friendly but above all professional. We ordered two pizzas and in less than 5 minutes they were on the table, delicious and especially rich in toppings. What can I say!!!! The best in Bagheria... Compliments to the owner, a super kind person.
