The best sandwich shop in Trieste, in my opinion. Quality ingredients, very fair prices, a varied menu, excellent beers, and a pub-like atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. I recommend booking in advance to avoid getting a spot at the counter; some nights it gets packed!

Great pub with a lot of atmosphere in a somewhat unexpected place (it's in a gallery if you have difficulties finding it). Very happy with my burger!

This review would be a 5 star if you opened for the 6 nations rugby between Ireland and England. I understand that the match was on outside your normal afternoon opening hours but some things are sacrosanct when you declare yourself to be an Irish pub! Even if you get few customers you have to open for these occasions, it's part of who you are! That said I totally understand your reply to the eejit who gave you a crap review when you turned down the telly for the other matches after the Irish game the previous week!

28/05/2026: We were hardly bothered by the train running right across the campsite. The pitches were large and neatly maintained. We even got a double pitch. The pitch is on concrete, so it is hardly possible to hammer pegs into the ground. If you want to use an awning, ask for a pitch on grass or something similar. The sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean. I just don't understand why there is no toilet seat on the toilet. It took some getting used to that toilet paper was not allowed to be thrown in the toilet. In summary, a customer-friendly, neat campsite. We found it a nice bonus that the village of Finale offers some catering establishments within walking distance.
26/05/2026: Nice parking spaces downstairs (not the ones on the concrete slab above), friendly staff and a great pizzeria right next door (definitely eat there, the wine is delicious and reasonably priced, pizzas from €7)
