11/05/2025: A chef must be a chef! And this is how Emanuele, who after Covid had somewhat given up on the chef's hat, has now returned to the kitchen to cheer us up with things out of the ordinary. I was served a tagliatella with courgettes in cream and raw prawns, which was the reason why we returned and... well we did. My wife ate a picanha cooked to perfection with confit yellow cherry tomatoes and parmesan, as if by the book. Our friend tried a tried and tested cesar bun, always good. Homemade bread, hot. This also surprised us. We drank a Leverano Rosato, super tested in terms of price-quality. In short, ... finally. Without taking anything away from the excellent pizza, returning to eat at Origini as a restaurant is truly a satisfaction. Well done guys!

07/05/2025: Delicious food, excellent wine for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, the furnishings are rather cold and austere.

29/04/2025: Few words. Top food. Product quality and refined, light dishes. Attentive and professional service. Nice location, maybe a little cold for my taste, but all very pleasant. I absolutely recommend it if you want a good fresh fish dish.

10/05/2025: Arrivati a Gallipoli abbiamo pranzato in questa trattoria. Che dire, antipasto misto di pesce fantastico. Primi piatti si pesce fresco, porzioni abbondantissime. Il titolare è un personaggio! Atmosfera e locale molto caratteristico.

15/03/2025: A wonderful evening with fantastic food! We had the pleasure of having dinner at Il Palazzo yesterday and absolutely loved it! The raw seafood was of outstanding quality – incredibly fresh and really tasty. The other dishes were great too, with honest, quality ingredients that speak for themselves. The warm service is particularly noteworthy. Although we hardly speak Italian (almost not at all 😅), we were welcomed with great friendliness and looked after attentively. The team creates an atmosphere in which you immediately feel welcome. If you want to enjoy great food in a pleasant, informal environment in Salento, you should definitely visit Il Palazzo and its friendly team. Thank you very much – we will definitely come back!

02/02/2025: We were the only guests. Beforehand we took anchovies and zucchini flowers. Tasty. As a main course lasagna and risotto with seafood. Both have no special taste. Served just hot enough. A disappointment as far as we are concerned.

12/05/2025: Very beautiful and well-kept location, immersed in the alleys of Otranto. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed with the food, it was good but the portions were small, especially for the starters. We expected something more for the presentation of the place.

16/05/2025: Fantastic dinner! We started with the house appetizer, a generous and tasty mix of Greek specialties: tzatziki, feta, olives and other delicious tastings, all fresh and well presented. For the first course, we chose a traditional dish that really immersed us in the flavors of the Mediterranean. The second course, a fried fish, was one of the highlights of the evening: crunchy, dry, tasty and with very fresh fish. We concluded with a typical dessert, fragrant and perfectly balanced. Very kind service and welcoming atmosphere. A corner of Greece that will be difficult to stay away from!

14/05/2025: The food was bad. The octopus was extremely salty and inedible. The staff was unfriendly. Only the restrooms were clean... In fact, there were only four guests. I chose this restaurant only because it was close to the hotel!
