10/10/2025: September 2024 I've been to this restaurant a year later and I must confirm everything I've said previously. Some family members joined me, and I took them to this "little treasure," letting them taste not only the spaghetti cacio e pepe, but also the breaded porcini mushrooms and the famous rib-eye steak... a delicious piece of meat cooked to perfection. Needless to say, the quality of the service and their responsiveness to our requests are second to none. For me, I classify it as an "essential" stop for anyone visiting Salento for a gastronomic experience. Fernando, I'm from Bari, which isn't around the corner. I'll try to convince my wife to stay in your "castle." September 2025 I usually come to eat at this restaurant during the period (late September, early October) when I'm taking my spa treatments. I reiterate my empathy for this place, to Fernando and his staff. This time I had lunch, while the others had dinner, and even though it was almost past 12:15, they gave me the attention a customer notices. They offered me spaghetti cacio e pepe with porcini mushrooms, a Grigglestone cube roll, wine, and a digestif. Price is relative when the dishes are exceptionally flavorful and prepared. I certainly didn't pay cheap, but if you compare the price to the quality of the food, the location, and the service... 03/10/2025: A good hotel with modern amenities. The service is efficient. The rooms are quiet, spacious, and functional. The meals are good, especially breakfast with a wide selection of homemade cakes and pastries.

24/10/2025: A very lovely restaurant run proudly by a family. Their food was advertised as being from their own land. EDIT: while the menu itself didn’t show many vegetarian options the restaurant have said they are happy to cater if asked directly. We were just too British and polite to ask for the menu to be changed for us! But the meat and fish dishes looked lavishly delicious. I think their menu changes depending on what they are producing.

12/10/2025: Just like a bar should be. Darklit, moody and with spectacular cocktails. Staff are pro. No muss no fuss no drama. They mix a most wonderful Negroni, taking the time to chill it properly. I may have had one too many but hey it's vacation. Not a place for kids or someone looking for cheap drinks. Top drawer all the way!

03/10/2025: If you're passing through Gagliano del Capo, we highly recommend this restaurant. We had a wonderful meal there, from the "primo piatto" to the "dolci." The flavors are local and well-prepared! We received a warm welcome and the service was very attentive and friendly. Go there! ;)

16/10/2025: An excellent discovery! While passing through the region, we preferred to travel a few kilometers to get away from the coast, and we did well! An excellent discovery; we were very well received and the food is delicious; the dishes are homemade and tasty! Bravo! Don't hesitate to travel a few kilometers into the Santa Cesarea countryside for a treat!

15/10/2025: I always return to Rocci with great pleasure. The dining room service is perfect. The chef often asks diners how he can satisfy their needs while always achieving the highest quality in his dishes. Since I come regularly, however, I find the dishes need a bit of innovation. Even cyclically, they could use updating or revisiting (I hope this is constructive criticism). Prices, alas, are a little above average.

11/09/2025: We stayed at this agriturismo last night and were pleasantly surprised by the place. The girl serving us was very kind, and the food was excellent and plentiful, with their appetizers being nothing short of fantastic. Excellent value for money. Thank you.

11/10/2025: The sushi was freshly prepared and very good. The udon noodles for main with salmon, tuna and shrimps was also verde m very good. The Ramen bowl with seafood was disappointing as it contained dried instant noodles 🙁 and there was too much liquid and not enough seafood. The miso soup had mushrooms which was nice but it lacked the miso taste. Overall it was ok, but the orange and black interior is a little dark. Didn’t try their pizzas, which is not really Japanese.

20/09/2025: Ordered takeout poke for dinner. My colleagues and I were completely satisfied. Delivery was even early, and the food was excellent! And a special thanks to Angela, who was there for me every step of the way and accommodated my every request. Definitely worth doing again!

11/09/2025: Excellent pastry shop, since we've been in Gallipoli on holiday we take the car every morning to have breakfast here, fabulous brioches and unique pasticciotto. Must try.

24/09/2025: Very good beer, decent focaccia, and a friendly atmosphere that could be improved. It's okay for a quick aperitif... but the price is a bit high for two small slices of focaccia and two take-out beers. They could do better.

02/11/2025: Average quality food: the ingredients aren't enough for a good dish. The place is quite noisy (depending on the number of tables), the service is slow (but why does the service vary depending on the day of the week?), and the staff isn't very helpful. The prices are a bit high for the service offered.

05/10/2025: Magnificent farmhouse just outside Giurdignano, fantastic location. Every time we return to Salento, we can't help but stay at Megalite. The restaurant offers all the local delicacies, the staff is superb, the service impeccable, and the prices are reasonable. Thanks guys! Highly recommended!!!

19/10/2025: Having fled another pizzeria, which had my approval the previous year (2023) until it expanded, the locals recommended this place to me. I came in for a pizza, but Lorenzo's presentation, the tasteful decor, the kindness of the staff (a very friendly girl with curly hair), the accuracy of the menu and the prices... and then the tablecloths, the cutlery changed after each course, the cloth napkins... I've dined here several times and I've tasted not only pizza, but much... much more... Everything was delicious. I forgot to take photos of the dishes and mark my presence with my daughter and son-in-law so I could have a souvenir... I'm only taking a few receipts to show how much I ate and how little I paid. One last mention: the kindness and deliciousness of the lady at the cashier. Please... don't change...! I'll be with you next year... don't disappoint me. And here I am in October 2025. They say "the murderer always returns to the scene of the crime." Well, I was there last year (see September 2024 review) and I returned again this year, where I: 1. Ate well; 2. Treated not as a customer but as a friend; 3. Cleanliness of the restaurant, elegance of the location; 4. Kindness, patience, and helpfulness of the staff; and 5. Professionalism of the "waiter manager." The review isn't just about the pizza, but also applies to other dates with different dishes... Pizza, meat, fish, mixed appetizers, first courses, beer, wine. I have the presumption of wanting to return next time. Photos are not required to prove my presence on site.

16/10/2025: I had dinner this evening at this restaurant, which I can truly describe as beautiful. From the location to the staff to the food, everything was delicious and high-quality. Highly recommended!
