While passing through the region, we preferred to travel a few kilometers to get away from the coast, and we did well! An excellent discovery; we were very well received and the food is delicious; the dishes are homemade and tasty! Bravo! Don't hesitate to travel a few kilometers into the Santa Cesarea countryside for a treat!
15/10/2025: I always return to Rocci with great pleasure. The dining room service is perfect.
The chef often asks diners how he can satisfy their needs while always achieving the highest quality in his dishes.
Since I come regularly, however, I find the dishes need a bit of innovation. Even cyclically, they could use updating or revisiting (I hope this is constructive criticism).
Prices, alas, are a little above average.

24/10/2025: A very lovely restaurant run proudly by a family. Their food was advertised as being from their own land.
EDIT: while the menu itself didn’t show many vegetarian options the restaurant have said they are happy to cater if asked directly. We were just too British and polite to ask for the menu to be changed for us!
But the meat and fish dishes looked lavishly delicious.
I think their menu changes depending on what they are producing.

11/09/2025: Excellent pastry shop, since we've been in Gallipoli on holiday we take the car every morning to have breakfast here, fabulous brioches and unique pasticciotto. Must try.

Marco the chef is very good, congratulations..... see you next time
11/09/2025: We stayed at this agriturismo last night and were pleasantly surprised by the place.
The girl serving us was very kind, and the food was excellent and plentiful, with their appetizers being nothing short of fantastic.
Excellent value for money.

02/11/2025: Average quality food: the ingredients aren't enough for a good dish.
The place is quite noisy (depending on the number of tables), the service is slow (but why does the service vary depending on the day of the week?), and the staff isn't very helpful.
The prices are a bit high for the service offered.

03/10/2025: If you're passing through Gagliano del Capo, we highly recommend this restaurant. We had a wonderful meal there, from the "primo piatto" to the "dolci." The flavors are local and well-prepared!
We received a warm welcome and the service was very attentive and friendly.

31/10/2025: Absolutely wonderful restaurant - a must-visit restaurant for Lecce! They serve delicious fish - we loved the mackerel (appetizer) and fresh sea bass. The bread with tomatoes in it served as an appetizer is absolutely amazing; I was surprised how delicious it is!! We asked for seconds of the bread because I loved the seasoning and tomatoes so much 😂 Shrimp gnocchi was also good. Also reasonably priced. Highly recommend dining here!

24/09/2025: Very good beer, decent focaccia, and a friendly atmosphere that could be improved. It's okay for a quick aperitif... but the price is a bit high for two small slices of focaccia and two take-out beers.
They could do better.

22/09/2025: We visited this restaurant several nights during our vacation in Salento. And we were never disappointed: the staff were friendly and helpful; the food was excellent (we always chose seafood dishes and one night had pizza), generous portions, and the bread...made by them, served still warm, a true delight with their sauces.
Breakfast was also always satisfying.

26/10/2025: An example: welcoming, spotlessly clean, bright. The menu is rich in simple, carefully crafted dishes, without the need for a bistro touch.
The opposite of the "sub-zero" burger joints, kebab shops, and fry shops.
Service is basic, but always with a smile.
15/10/2025: I really love it there! A cozy place with good interior design. Maybe a bit expensive but it's a boutique restaurant so i think it carries it. Definitely gonna visit more. AND THE COOKIES ARE 🤌 PERFECT

25/09/2025: Visited last week in the afternoon, admission was €7, which was more than reasonable. They explained the history to us and gave us a guide so we could visit without missing anything. A beautiful castle. A guide is available in the morning for those who want it.
