Ottima scelta si birre per tutti i palati, consiglio di assaggiarne diverse soprattutto in bottiglia dove si possono gustare delle belle novità! Per gli indecisi chiedere consiglio ad Andrea. Per mangiare la carne la fa' da padrona dove in cucina si destreggia egregiamente Annalisa.

18/06/2024: We went to this restaurant and immediately felt at home. Hospitality of times gone by. Mauro's cuisine is genuine and manages to give incredible flavors to even the simplest dishes which, once on the table, become true culinary jewels. The service provided by Pachi is always punctual and fun. The paella is a spectacle, but if you want it, remember to book it in advance. We will definitely return to River Side. I sincerely hope that sooner or later I can taste their Pizza which is not served at the moment...

15/01/2025: The aperitif is exceptional, done only once but definitely worth repeating. Rich, high quality and above all with many well cooked Piedmontese specialities. We had a great time, the dish they brought us was really plentiful and satisfying. One of the few left that is worth spending time and money on.

Finally a real restaurant with character: local dishes, all excellent, out of the ordinary, from antipasto to dessert with the best quality/price ratio in the sector. Perfect welcome, service, cuisine! Everything is homemade. We will definitely come back there during our next trip to Italy!

18/01/2025: Large and minimal room heated by a central mushroom which involves a notable change in temperature if you have the misfortune of having to sit at tables far from it. Decent but unfortunately freezing toilets. Mostly young, cheerful staff (the cashier in particular to whom I congratulate) and friendly to whom we give one star. Another is dedicated to the visible space reserved for the preparation of food for celiacs, which is unusual to see. And the last star for the cleanliness of the place. We chose a Chanel n.5 and a Parisian asking for the addition of onion during cooking from the first moment so that it was well cooked, but unfortunately it arrived raw. Rubbery dough, especially at the edges where it was highest, and sometimes burnt underneath. My teenage son chose the bacon hamburger with chips and in a restaurant, different from the famous fast food chains, one expects quality in the bread (it looked like the packaged one that you buy at the discount store in a smaller format) and even more so in the meat, especially then in Piedmont, which unfortunately was frozen. For the modest sum of 12 euros! The display case of packaged sweets was not inspiring. Considerable difficulties in finding parking. There is ample room for improvement given the potential of the venue and the staff to make it pleasant. I wouldn't go back at the moment.

05/01/2025: We went to this restaurant recently and, although the food was decent, the experience was ruined by an unpleasant episode at the checkout. A bald waiter was joking with other customers who paid before us, boasting in unpolite tones and saying: "Thank goodness I'm here, otherwise you know what a mess it is with the old woman and the little girl, you know what a laugh it is." I find it unacceptable that an employee allows himself to make such jokes, which are not only disrespectful but also out of place, in a working context where he should guarantee professionalism and respect towards customers. The arrogant and unprofessional attitude of this person is something that deeply displeases and, frankly, does not make you want to come back. I hope that the management takes action to ensure that similar incidents do not happen again.

17/11/2024: Siamo capitati per caso in questo paese alla ricerca di un buon fritto misto. Ci siamo ritrovati in un locale accogliente,molto d’antan. Tutto rimasto inalterato nel tempo,dall’arredo al vecchio « putagé » acceso. Il bicchiere sporco sul tavolo cambiato su mia richiesta,mi ha allarmata,ma poi la cucina è stata una sorpresa. La carne cruda consigliata dalla titolare era squisita,per non parlare del fritto misto piemontese,leggerissimo anche se non esageratamente ricco. La crème caramel fatto in casa davvero buono. Poca scelta di bottiglie. Conto corretto. Gentilmente,penso a causa della disavventura del bicchiere sporco,non ci è stato fatto pagare il coperto. Vorrei tornarci in estate perché il cortile interno rappresenta l’autenticità contadina.
