16/06/2025: The lunch menu for me failed, the food of standard/low level with prices not exactly cheap considering that wine and water are extra, the inattentive service and not very present staff. Too bad it was a place where you could eat outdoors in a good way with home-made products and cheap prices, now it remains a place with still some greenery and nothing more

24/08/2025: Truly horror sushi, the worst I've ever had. The reviews really misled us this time. I could have guessed it from the moment we sat down: the tables are cramped, crammed one on top of the other, you're practically eating from the laps of the people at the next table. The 70-page menu is also a great indicator; too many expectations are not even remotely met: the portions are excessive, the rice is overcooked, the fried foods are completely mushy, and the seaweed (rightfully so) can't hold all that weight together, so the pieces fall apart. This sushi can only be good if it's your first time trying this cuisine, but you only need to try a few other half-decent restaurants to realize that we're light years behind here.

24/08/2025: We visited this Japanese restaurant for the first time this afternoon. We were immediately impressed by the variety of dishes offered. Indeed, everything was exquisite and beautifully presented. We'll definitely return.

13/07/2025: A romantic dinner? Taverna Darsté in Torre Pellice (Via Arnaud 3) could be a great idea, as well as a get-together with gourmet friends who love seafood. Yes, because—oddly enough—Darsté has built its business and professional image on the freshest and most flavorful seafood, even though we're in the Pellice Valley. Our evening began with a couple of first courses from the menu (orecchiette with fresh octopus, clams, and broccoli rabe; and cavatelli with seafood ragù), cooked perfectly al dente and beautifully balanced in flavor between the various ingredients. A small misstep was the mixed fried calamari, shrimp, and anchovies—a bit too greasy, and the shrimp hadn't had their "intestinal vein" removed: I know, opinions differ, but we're in favor of a thorough cleanse...—which was promptly redeemed by a seared fresh tuna on a bed of mixed salad that earned a standing ovation for its freshness, flavor, and tenderness. The dinner was rounded out with an excellent bunet and the bubbles of a glass of Baffone (Poderi Cellario, 80% Moscato and 20% Favorita), bold, savory, and pleasantly rustic. We'll be visiting again, and soon.

07/09/2025: Small but welcoming, family-run restaurant. Quiet, with a well-maintained atmosphere. Professional service and a warm welcome. Well-prepared dishes with classic and delicious combinations. The small number of tables should not be misleading; they are a sign of the care taken in managing orders. The (tolerable) wait will be worth it when you savor the flavors of the dishes. Spacious and clean restroom. Small parking lot inside, plus another a few meters away. Easy to get to.

14/06/2025: I'll start by saying that we weren't able to eat at this restaurant... we'd been trying to call since 6:30 PM but no one ever answered... we arrived at 10 PM because we were out of the area and since it says the restaurant closes at midnight we went straight here but they sent us away because the kitchen was already closed... I recommend changing the hours on Google...

I ordered a beer and a rolled kebab... it arrived after two minutes... cold, raw bread that was fraying and above all inside there was meat, two fries and little salad... one of the worst kebabs I've ever eaten... shame about the place... staff who don't even say hello... a discordant note,,, the staff were smoking outside the shop and the smoke was coming right into the shop. Annoying for those who don't smoke...

24/08/2025: I've known Luca and this wonderful place for at least 20 years. Exceptional pizzas, among the best I've ever eaten, very friendly and helpful service. On weekends, it's best to book as they get really busy. Keep up the good work, and congratulations!

11/09/2025: I had lunch here with a friend. I have to say, it's a great place and I'll definitely be back. The staff has always been extremely polite and friendly, and served us very quickly. We ordered a trio of Piedmontese dishes and a first course, and everything was delicious and excellent, so much so that we left practically nothing on our plates. The price, despite the central location, is fair and affordable.
