07/07/2025: I went up there for a pleasant walk in the mountains while I found myself in an unspeakable chaos for a kind of event that not even the most run-down discos could have put together Inaccessible refuge, lake della Vecchia with a crowd that not even on August 15th at the Milan seaplane base would be seen, in short a Dantesque circle that I would not wish on anyone Never again in this place and never again in this valley that also gave us a big fine for parking in Piedicavallo Ps do not believe the 2 hours of misleading sign to reach the refuge because it takes at least 3 hours with risk to your ankles Go somewhere else leave the Biella Alps to them

06/07/2025: Escaping the heat of the plain, my daughter and I reached the refuge after a two-hour walk starting from Piedicavallo. The refuge's location is wonderful, with a balcony overlooking the entire valley that you walk through to reach it, and 5 minutes from the suggestive lake of the same name. The interior is welcoming, and makes you feel at home. Excellent food, amazing cakes, and extremely friendly service

10/05/2025: The pizza with the best dough in the area, the ingredients are also good, the only flaw I find about the farinata, you should make it the size of a pan because it is G U O N I S S I M A

02/07/2025: I came here for a weekend of relaxation, as part of a group. This place is perfect for that. Situated on a hillside, with views over the valley and the two lakes, it's perfect for cycling around the Sacra di San Michele. The restaurant is closed during the week, but you can get around it with a delivery service or your own car. I was very well looked after during my late arrival; the team is very friendly, attentive, and very hard-working! My thanks to all of you! The rooms are clean and simple, and the property is equally well maintained. I highly recommend it for this purpose. Good Wi-Fi is available throughout, although some rooms are slower due to the thick walls.

21/11/2024: Magnifique endroit, arrivés à 14h30 (2h30 PM), servis comme des princes, personnel très sympathique, ambiance piémontaise, superbe vue sur les montagnes, nourriture familiale excellente et servie dans la bonne humeur par des personnes très gentilles et à l'écoute. La meilleure adresse du coin. je devrais sûrement la garder pour moi tellement c'était une belle expérience. Tarifs ultra abordables (environ 15€/personne pour les deux plats).

The service was professional and friendly, although a little formal at times. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, perfect for a special evening. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the menu could be a little more varied and innovative. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good dining experience in an elegant setting!"

03/08/2025: A pleasant discovery. We were on vacation here, completely unfamiliar with the area, so we stopped for lunch. Delicious food and a beautiful view.

17/07/2025: Beautiful location with a sea view. A manageable menu with a rather limited selection. The penne was good, the bratwurst and fries were extremely lousy for a whopping €18...a handful of fries and a small sausage, plus a small sachet of mayo and ketchup, for that price is ridiculous. You can usually get a meal like that for around €6 at any average chip shop.

06/07/2025: Positive experience confirmed after about a year and a half. Always very tasty pizzas, soft and crunchy at the same time, whether they are pan-fried or brick-baked...so substantial as well as incredibly light and extraordinarily digestible. The crepes souzette, speaking of desserts, prepared on the spot by the owner with evident commitment, perfectly embody harmony, delicacy and attention to detail. Humility and kindness of all the staff, on a particularly cool evening were more than a worthy setting for dinner. Cuisine, menu and venue highly recommended.
