Local dishes with a certain twist on vegetarianism. Good ingredients that unfortunately are not fully processed correctly. Delicious veal in stark contrast to attempts at fried cheese and a vegetable mousse that only a toothless chef could create considering the consistency. Must praise the clarity on the issue of allergens. Wait staff who, without much knowledge, suggest wine before you order your food? Barbaresco/Nebbiolo/Dolcetto saves the moment. After all, the view from the balcony is hard to beat. The substandard food can easily be overshadowed by the view and regional wines 2 courses, with a glass of wine for both and a coffee, for 65€ is quite high for what you get

Locanda Borgo Vecchio is a truly wonderful spot for a romantic evening or dinner date. The setting is absolutely stunning—perfect for enjoying a beautiful sunset in peaceful, picturesque surroundings. It creates a calm and intimate atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The food was exceptional—rich in flavor, carefully prepared, and genuinely delicious. The portions were also very generous, which made the meal even more satisfying. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were warm, charming, and welcoming, adding a personal touch that made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening. Overall, Locanda Borgo Vecchio is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for great food, a romantic ambiance, and genuinely kind service.

It was our second visit to the locanda, within three years. The rooms are spacious, cosy and very clean. Offering breakfast in the room made the experience even nicer. Angelica and staff are always there to assist and make our stay pleasant. Neive is a fantastic place for foodies, wine lovers and people seeking for a relaxing place. The views of the hills of Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and Barolo are truly unbeliavable. A place to always come back.

Location with a truly beautiful view of the Langhe with Monviso in the background. Mixed platter of quality cured meats and cheeses, explained in detail by the waiters. Good agnolotti. Fairly priced. Recommended

Super dishes, excellent experience.

I came to eat at this restaurant for Christmas lunch with my parents. All three of us left feeling incredibly satisfied. The place is truly enchanting; I can imagine what it must be like to eat there in the spring, with that beautiful view surrounding the most wonderful moment of the day: lunch :) We were welcomed as if we were at home, from the first small course to dessert. I think I told at least 7 or 8 people: the chestnut agnolotti were the best I've ever eaten. Trust me, I eat...
