22/04/2025: Ieri sera ho preso una pizza ligure e tra gli ingredienti c’era scritto gambero di Mazara del Vallo peccato che era un gambero argentino nemmeno ben pulito c’era ancora il filo nero …come dimensione poteva essere anche un L1 ,la pizza buona il servizio puntuale,ma per 14 euro si poteva anche avvisare che il gambero era stato sostituito

13/06/2025: Atmosphere: Nice even if the outside is not the best. Staff: Super friendly and helpful. Service: A little slow to prepare but it was worth it. Price: in my opinion a little high. Food: Very good and well served. Personal opinion: I will start by saying that I have only been there once and at a time when I could not try something more complete, like sandwiches. The environment itself is well-kept and well-furnished inside, while the outside unfortunately suffers a little from the location, being close to the prison, which can affect the initial impression. The food is really good and the choice is very varied: sandwiches served with potatoes, focaccias made by them and various appetizers. All very inviting! In my opinion the prices are a little high for some proposals, but understandable considering the high quality of the ingredients. The staff was very kind, especially the young girl who welcomed us, served us and then also made us pay: very nice and helpful, we also chatted a lot! I highly recommend!!

02/02/2025: Oggi siamo stati a pranzo presso questo ristorante situato a Cartosio, appartenente al circuito delle "Premiate Trattorie Italiane". Locale elegante e sobrio allo stesso tempo, molto ordinato, dove si respira un aria di tranquillità e pacatezza. Il titolare e lo staff molto premurosi e cortesi. Materie prime semplici ma di grande qualità, il tutto cotto al momento sulla stufa a legna. Carta dei vini molto fornita sia con bottiglie dal buon rapporto qualità-prezzo che grandi etichette dal costo importante. Noi abbiamo scelto un ottimo Barbera "Monleale" 2015 dell'Azienda Vigneti Massa di Monleale (AL) che ben si è abbinato alle pietanze assaporate. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto misto che abbiamo condiviso in tre, comprendente insalata russa, acciughe al verde, una ratatouille, salame e frittata di cipolle, tutto molto buono. Abbiamo proseguito con taglierini al ragù per due e dei maltagliati di farina di farro con carciofi e guanciale, entrambi squisiti! Inoltre abbiamo preso anche il pollo alla cacciatora per due davvero valido. Infine i dolci (elencati a voce), abbiamo scelto il gelato all'arancia per due e un semifreddo allo zabajone. Un'acqua e tre caffè per un conto finale di 182 Euro in tre, da ritenersi corretto per la bontà dei piatti assaporati e le materie prime utilizzate, anche se il costo di alcuni di essi (in particolare il secondo e uno dei dolci) è un po' alto se rapportato alla porzione servita. Nota di merito: non si paga il coperto. Locale consigliato, ritorneremo!

13/06/2025: Siamo stati a mangiare all'antica casa Rava domenica scorsa. Intanto l'accoglienza gentile e premurosa della signora, la cuoca, ci ha piacevolmente colpito. Io ho optato per un menù con 4 scelte; mio marito ha preferito scegliere 2 piatti singoli... La cucina è ottima, gustosa, leggera ma soprattutto sana. Siamo abituati a mangiare vegano, pur non essendo lo, per motivi soprattutto di salute e questa gastronomia non ci ha affatto deluso. Ottimi anche il calice di Barbera che ha accompagnato i nostri piatti e il Tiramisù, per concludere degnamente il pasto. Certamente ritorneremo quando nuovamente saremo in Piemonte, in zona di Alessandria, per una gita o piccola vacanza.

11/05/2025: We went for lunch after a hike, without reservation, they managed to get a table for us in their beautiful garden with a view on the hills. The food and the wine are both delicious here. The staff is smiling and welcoming. It was a nice surprise to find this perl in such a small village.

28/04/2025: Easter Monday lunch in a pleasant and well-kept location. The unpredictable weather forced us inside but only a couple of weeks earlier we had tested the outdoor terrace with great pleasure. All really good, but the special mention of the "Baked pork ribs" is mandatory. An unforgettable dish, a surprise comparable only to Jennifer Lopez ringing the doorbell and asking you to stay for dinner and after dinner. Young, friendly, attentive and patient staff, especially our "table assistant" who put up with us boomers. Excellent local bottled wines at very reasonable prices. We will be back very soon because at Boccadoro very simply you're fine!

21/04/2025: Three days in the area for the Easter weekend... we had two dinners in this pub. Sandwiches with really excellent meat and the beers on offer are also excellent. Congratulations to the guys who work there and manage it!

19/04/2025: Locali esteticamente gradevoli e pulitissimi, personale super cortese e professionale, birre e cibo top. Anche se sono onnivora e senza intolleranze ho apprezzato l'attenzione verso coloro che hanno preferenze o necessità alimentari specifiche. Perfetto anche per le famiglie: ai bambini è stato consegnato un micro kit per colorare. Una scoperta, torneremo. P.S. niente foto, non ne ho avuto il tempo, è stato spazzolato tutto in un istante.🤣

21/04/2025: There were five of us and we had an evening that was hard to beat. Everything was perfect for us: the atmosphere in the old monastery, the food, the service. The ravioli was very good, as was the pasta Cacio e Pepe. The veal cheeks were a poem! The whole atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. A great service that corresponds to the price, but without exaggeration, almost family-like. In addition to the food from the menu, there were delicious amuse gueules, bread, breadsticks and dessert bites (Coperto €4). The wine list is also very nice and the prices are very reasonable for restaurant prices. Depending on the number of courses, you should budget a total of 50 to 70 euros per person (the 4-course menu is 45 euros). As I said, a wonderful evening!
