Ristorante Belvedere

11/04/2026: We stayed at the Belvedere Hotel with a Smartbox reservation. We weren't expecting such a welcoming and well-kept place (the photos didn't do it justice). The hotel is located on the charming central square and also serves as a bar. Parking is convenient and free in the square, where there are also two good restaurants. The receptionist was very kind and accommodating (I believe he was one of the owners) and gave us room 10, well-renovated and with a splendid view of the valley, an en-suite bathroom with a window (a rarity), and new, simple but comfortable furnishings. We opted for the excellent buffet breakfast for a small 5 euro addition to the bar breakfast included in the package. And last but not least: a complimentary bottle of Barbera D'Asti upon check-in. What more can I say? Perfect.

26/12/2025: Poor quality food, high prices. Not recommended.

23/12/2025: A place I found by chance, seemingly lost in the woods around Acqui Terme. A pleasant surprise. Very welcoming and with a typically Piedmontese menu. The truffle takes pride of place. Personally, I can't resist their bollito misto: magnificent! The sauce is always excellent. The menu is truly varied. Traveling between Piedmont and Liguria, it's always a favorite lunch spot. #1 on my list of culinary destinations.

25/04/2025: In pieno centro storico di Alice bel Colle si trova questo curato e raffinato ristorante ma che sa offrire anche otto aperitivi e degustazioni di vino di alta eccellenza. Siamo stati accolti con garbo dalle due cameriere, davvero professionali e gentili. I piatti proposti sanno di territorio, di tradizione, e di innovazione. Il calice di vino proposto è stato perfetto per i miei gnocchi con il baccalà. Per quanto riguarda il prezzo posso solo dire che non si può assolutamente pretendere un simile standard di ingredienti, location e servizio con prezzi diversi = la qualità si paga e l’eccellenza è il massimo della qualità possibile. Per me bravi! Provatelo, non solo per tutto quello che ho descritto, ma anche per l’esperienza che vivrete. Consigliato!

06/04/2025: Locale con posizione carina nella piazza. Peccato per il resto…. Personale scortese tempo di attesa lunghissimi non ci è stato chiesto scusa… ci è stato detto di dover chiedere noi il calice di vino compreso con il dolce. Se volete essere presi in giro e attendere un ora per un primo ve lo consiglio. Se volete mangiare bene e avere un’ottima esperienza vi consiglio il Cascinone che si trova lì vicino.
