03/05/2026: I've been going to this place for years, always satisfied when we return. The products used are very good, perfectly prepared. Everything is to my liking, both the ambiance and the background music used to accompany the meal. We return often, never disappointed.

27/04/2026: Courteous, attentive, and helpful staff. The place is impressive and very characteristic, especially the inside area. I went for lunch and ordered the asparagus parmigiana. It was good, but since it was supposed to be like a parmigiana, I expected tomato to be added in addition to the cheese. The first course was the frog rice. The rice was ok at Dante, but there was a small adjustment: I would have liked it to have been cooked for 1 minute longer, it was a little more than al dente. I found a piece of frog with some bones still in it. Overall, however, I ate well. The desserts were the best I've ever eaten, compliments to the pastry chef. EXCEPTIONAL! 👏

You're welcomed by young, knowledgeable staff, and the open-plan kitchen is where they create sweet treats, expressing their creativity and artistry. Despite the high attendance, the staff works with extreme calm and meticulous organization. Recommended

08/05/2026: Friendliness isn't their strong point; they're full of forced smiles. The place is very beautiful and chic in Casale's "piazza buona," with excellent aperitifs and wines. They've launched into various flavors of krumiri and invented savory ones to attract tourists who don't know the original flavor, but the result is always the same: biscuits, not krumiri. Nothing comes close to the real thing.

27/04/2026: I happened upon it, stopped for lunch, and came away with a box of Krumiri. What do I think? A truly interesting place: elegantly furnished, it doesn't look like a Krumiri shop (and what Krumiri!!!!!) or a bistro. Yet this is so much more: I had the chance to speak with the owner, a friendly man, who said something important, something few understand: "It's better to limit the selection and quantity than to limit the quality of what you offer." It may seem trivial, but it's not! It's the mantra that every business owner, especially in the restaurant industry, should have written on their forehead. And these aren't just words: the culinary selection isn't vast, but the vitello tonnato I treated myself to was something more than exquisite! Not to mention the bread, the homemade focaccia (made in their own workshop...) as well as the Krumiri... truly delicious. For me, an experience to repeat as soon as possible, and for those reading this review, an invitation to try it...

21/04/2026: A historic Tortona restaurant that continues to stand out over time. After trying several burgers in the city, I can say without hesitation that this is the best. The quality is evident at first bite: well-chosen ingredients, balanced flavors, and a care that's hard to find elsewhere. You can sense the experience and attention to detail. A must-try for those who love truly well-made burgers. Highly recommended. Lots of beers!

19/04/2026: The service was beyond reproach, as they sent us to the table to serve ourselves, but out of desperation we went to get breakfast at the counter. Macarons aren't mandatory, and while they add a touch of class, they're inedible. Poorly leavened pastries that taste like sandwiches. The plain focaccia smelled of yeast.

15/04/2026: Beautiful and characteristic pastry shop, still furnished in antique style, a truly spectacular and unique place to visit with its antique chandeliers!
