10/03/2024: One of the best restaurants in Alessandria, excellent cuisine and excellent service. Definitely my favorite at the moment. I had dinner with foreign colleagues and I asked for a tasting (55 euros) with a triptych of quality Piedmontese wines... Alta Langa di Serafino, Timorasso di Massa, Barbera di Ratti, Barolomdi Gaja... Total... expensive but not exaggerated. Around 100 euros. But it's worth it all... just for the numerous interludes such as amuse bouche, pre-dessert and coffee with sweets... in short, here you are in the high range. Nel.resto.di alessandria, excellent quality and service but of a slightly lower range.

The restaurant just lacks soundproofing so if it has people it is difficult to hear each other if the table is large as was our case (13). Oh I almost forgot the dessert was delicious 😀👍. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation!

04/04/2024: I had lunch on Easter Monday at this delightful place. The fixed menu (the right solution given the particular day) was excellent. Well cooked food and portions of the right size, the wines they produced were delicious. Highly recommended.

30/03/2024: It is always a special place for me. Mario in the dining room is perfect, professional and friendly, in the kitchen Antonello is one of my favorite interpreters of Piedmontese cuisine. I always come back willingly.

03/04/2024: We had lunch on Easter Monday looking for a restaurant on the way home. It was an unexpected discovery, a completely new and very clean location, a heart-stopping view. In summer you can also eat outside or on the beautiful terrace on the first floor. Even though we had arrived before the opening, our grandfather and his dog Oliva kept us and our Dalmatian Paco company, they told us the story of the Osteria delle Zucche Vuote, how and why it is called that. The excellent food, the courtesy and kindness of the whole family was truly appreciated and made the difference. Such dedication to one's work is to be commended. Highly recommended, indeed if you want to feel like family this Osteria is the right one. Congratulations to everyone and I am increasingly convinced that the help and support of grandparents is always an added value, that sweet icing on the cake.

04/04/2024: Excellent pizza, perhaps the best in Alessandria, top quality ingredients. Soft, thin but not too much and digestible. I tried both the pan and the others in various formats. Owner and staff very kind and competent. Attention to every detail to guarantee a result that satisfies the palate. I also recommend trying Farinata, Panuozzi etc. This is why I have been their customer for a long time and recommend it to friends.

22/03/2024: For me one of the best pizzas in Alessandria, I'm a regular at Maxy pizza and I must say that the dough is really good, light, not very salty but above all I don't even have a piece of the edge left over!! The guys are very kind and always courteous 👏👏👏 keep it up

17/02/2024: Farmhouse with wine production. The gastronomic offer is excellent: in addition to the menu, a very rich tasting menu (including vegetarian), which allows you to try various Monferrato specialties, the tartare is amazing, but everything is excellent. Wines as imaginable, especially the Grignolino is recommended (also in the sparkling and chinato versions). Super quality/price ratio. Worth trying, also for the possibility of visiting one of the typical "infernot" (underground chamber dug into the Pietra da Cantoni), characteristic of the area (Monferrato of the infernot according to UNESCO)

10/03/2024: I recommend an obligatory stop for anyone traveling on the A26 motorway, exit at Ovada and go to have lunch at the La Volpina restaurant. Elegant atmosphere, very friendly staff and excellent food. The tartare on bone and marrow is fantastic, the cheek with saffron purée is delicious, the same goes for tagliatelle with porcini mushroom sauce. Very good desserts. The friendliness and professionalism with which they welcomed and served us, and the excellent food prepared by the chef is worth a stop. Highly recommended

10/03/2024: Potato molto carino alla uscita del casello di Ovada. Ciò e mangiare a casa della nonna. Meno gustoso e prezzi ragionevoli. Servizio gentile ma sicuramente lento. È un posto dove non si può andare in fretta. Favoloso il coniglio in porchetta. Assaggio di formaggi molto vario e generoso. Ti danno un entre e dei biscotti con il caffè. Merita la pena. Abbiamo pagato una media di 50€/ persona.

07/04/2024: Excellent food, excellent location, terrible service. Sullen and unfriendly waitress...when asked for the bill, she presented herself directly with the POS, typing in the amount to be paid without presenting the specification of how much consumed. When asked for the detail she showed up with a butcher's type receipt in her hand......a shame because the place is definitely worth it for the food and the location!!
