03/03/2024: Trattoria near the square of the Municipality of Carpeneto, it has a beautiful characteristic environment.
The dishes we tried were really good (vegetable flan with fondue, Piedmontese agnolotti, tagliolini with mushrooms, tagliolini with pesto, veal with tuna sauce), the Barbera San Nicolas was excellent and the rosé sparkling wine was excellent.
We were in the room opposite the kitchen but we left without smelling the food: great additions!
A menu for vegan vegetarians is also available.
But why 4 stars?
We were unable to fully understand the reason for our "not full satisfaction", so we list the points that we considered less positive:
1. The portions are objectively a little small
2. Total absence of internet connection: I understand that the owners cannot work miracles but nowadays solutions can be found and this becomes imperative when the area also lacks telephone connection
3. The table in the next room made us run away: between loud music and singing at the top of our lungs (which certainly brought joy) we couldn't even talk to our neighbor. Sin.
We'll be back.

02/01/2024: As our first experience in the restaurant we spent New Year's Eve with a dinner, brought by friends.
Very large and very nice place, well distributed. Kind and professional staff always taking into consideration the particularity of the evening where it is not easy to manage more than 200 seats at the right times. The courses were almost all appreciable both in quantity and quality (apart from one of the first courses (the gnocchi with pesto) and one of the second courses (the cotechino) which were rather below average in quality, the rest were very good.
Good value also for the price (65€ each) considering the discreet wine and the after-meal bitters and above all the entertainment with the music that accompanied us and made us dance and a wonderful fireworks show after midnight that he was really pleasantly surprised.
The young boys who served managed to keep the times correct and manage the various requests. The whole environment was a bit confusing towards the end but obviously due to the large amount of people in the mood to celebrate so it's ok.
Nice experience, I would recommend it and I personally am curious to try it again in a normal non-holiday situation.
Well done.
28/12/2023: Un vero e proprio Gioiello in mezzo ai vigneti, location top, i titolari veramente professionali: hanno anche adeguato il menù per un parente celiaco, servizio veramente molto giovanile e gentili!! Consiglio molto il brasato con patate veramente prelibato !! Vini di loro produzioni eccellenti.

11/10/2023: Sono anni che frequentiamo questo locale e ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo; persone squisite che ti fanno sentire a casa, il cibo è genuino, buonissimo e cucinato come si faceva una volta: con capacità, pazienza e passione, i ravioli sono in assoluto i più buoni che abbiamo mai mangiato!!!! Porzioni abbondanti con bis, ottimo anche il vino di loro produzione!! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!!! E come ho già detto nella precedente recensione assolutamente da consigliare!!!!!
