04/05/2026: Aperitivo at Boccadoro. We know the place but didn't know this option existed, so since we were in town for a party, we went to say hello at 6 pm. Since it was a lovely evening, we sat down and ordered a bottle.
Along with the bottle, we ordered a charcuterie board (excellent, especially the cooked salami), then Russian salad arrived, and the chef came to pick some sage, which ended up first in the pan and then on our plates—an infinite delight.
Fried artichokes, bruschetta, a taste of risotto, and basil sorbet.
Meanwhile, the bottles had increased to 3 (there were 8 of us).
Don't call it an apericena because there's no such thing as an apericena!
Let's call it Venetian style: Aperitivo with cicchetti.
We'll be back, we will!
04/05/2026: Friday, May 1st, with friends, the place was packed inside and out (in the beautiful garden). From the vitello tonnato to the truly excellent plin, to the "moving" pork ribs.
Special mention for the fried artichokes and the crostata.
The friendly and attentive service, despite the crowds, is the real added value.

08/04/2026: An authentic, no-frills agriturismo, perfect for those seeking substance and simplicity. The rooms are admittedly spartan but meticulously clean (we're on a farmhouse, not a resort, so remember that). The garden is a peaceful oasis, and the view is truly remarkable, especially at sunset. There's no shortage of animals, including a donkey that, as soon as you approach it, comes to pose for a photo and seeks a cuddle.
Breakfast and dinner follow the same simple, authentic approach. The homemade wine is amazing, and the jams are excellent.
We spent the Easter weekend here. The location is excellent for visiting the Monferrato area, easily accessible and a short distance from the Sacro Monte di Crea.
The owners are a real asset: friendly, attentive, and cordial. Authentic. Thank you for your hospitality. We felt at home, even though it was your home.
Ideal for those looking to unplug and enjoy a beautiful experience.

12/04/2026: As always, a truly unique place....we had a wonderful Easter and ate excellent food...
30/03/2026: I can only say it was an experience. We had reserved a table. There's only one menu with nine courses. We were able to experience authentic Piedmontese cuisine. Absolutely delicious, with something for everyone. I wouldn't recommend it for vegetarians. The price of €50 might sound a bit high at first, but considering the effort involved, it's justified. Incidentally, 1.5 bottles of wine and coffee were also included in the price.
