Lunch breaks are hectic given the workers' tight schedules, but at the same time, the care, patience, and friendliness of the kind and busy ladies who run it make it feel genuine.
A delightful little spot, in the shade of the adjacent pedestrian square, where you can escape to savor Italian cuisine as we know it. Made with fresh, local ingredients and paired with care and passion, it offers each diner a warm and tasty experience.
The atmosphere is rustic and refined, with details that recall the traditions of the last century: the small tables, the choice of blackboard menu, the open kitchen, and the recycled objects that adorn the rooms make it unique and comfortable.
Highly recommended.

04/05/2026: Tried it yesterday on the way back to Genoa, a great discovery. The food is truly high-quality, well-crafted, and with compelling flavors, a sign of attentive and authentic cuisine. The service is informal yet precise and friendly, making you feel immediately at ease.
The location is also very beautiful: well-kept, welcoming, and pleasant, ideal not only for lunch or dinner, but also perfect for stopping for an aperitivo. A bistro definitely worth a stop.

21/12/2025: An irreplaceable destination for my lunch breaks. Excellent and always fresh food, impeccable and fast service, clean and welcoming place. I always feel at home. Plenty of choice, even for pesky vegetarians like me. Highly recommended!!!!
22/11/2025: I bought two pieces of fried cod, they were indecent, soaked in oil, the outside of the batter was anemic, I had to put them between two sheets of absorbent paper to remove all the oil and put them back in the oven to brown the batter, I won't say anything else.

Wonderful aromas wafted from the kitchen, every dish was delicious, and the attention from the staff was fantastic, professional, and exceptional. Yes, if it's about feeling at home and eating with the aromas of the region, I highly recommend it.

Found by chance years ago, little publicized, Kapuziner offers quality food, both on the regular menu and in various off-menu options, especially the meats, which are delicious and perfectly cooked. Excellent cocktails and beers. The friendly and welcoming manager offers interesting advice and always makes us feel at home, even though we only see each other every few months. Highly recommended!
