30/01/2024: Impeccable service and cuisine, very good wine too 👍. The restaurant just lacks soundproofing so if it has people it is difficult to hear each other if the table is large as was our case (13).
Oh I almost forgot the dessert was delicious 😀👍.
I recommend this restaurant without hesitation!

04/08/2023: Really well set up place, full of lights and pretty details... very romantic for a dinner for 2 but spacious for families. A glass separates the room from the embers allowing you to see it without taking in the smell of smoke. The liquorice digestive is excellent

24/01/2024: The venue is beautiful. The food is good, but not excellent (so the prices are perhaps a little high). The service was cold and lacked a bit of attention (we took the menu and the waitress put the plates down for us without a word, when it was time to pay we had to go to the kitchen because no one had been there for more than 10 minutes in the room). Plus they put us at a table at the back of a completely empty room.

02/04/2024: While visiting Casal Monferrato, we ate in this place adjacent to the central square. Intimate and nice place. We tried a trio of Piedmontese appetizers and a sliced fassona all accompanied by an excellent Barbera. Everything was good, the service was also friendly. Value for money in the norm. Advised
10/03/2024: Excellent experience and excellent quality food... Also excellent for spending a romantic and peaceful evening. The staff were welcoming and always available. Culinary experience to absolutely do again!

Dopo una settimana di lavoro intenso, ci siamo regalati un pomeriggio di buona cucina piemontese.
Posto nella piazza centrale di gamalero (AL) locale molto semplice, d'altri tempi a conduzione veramente familiare c'è la "Locanda"
Piatti tipici e soprattutto costate eccezionali.
La simpatia del titolare è contagiosa.
Prezzi ben rapportati.

18/02/2024: Locale rustico con un bellissimo camino dove si cucina dell’ottima carne…ottimi anche gli antipasti e i dolci… i primi non li abbiamo assaggiati ma dall’aspetto sembravano ottimi!!!
