10/11/2024: È stata una grande delusione. Vengo in questo ristorante da diversi anni e sono sempre rimasto molto soddisfatto, ma quest' anno la qualità si è abbassata molto, probabilmente a causa del cambio chef. Il buon nome conquistato nel tempo non dura in eterno, ma va tenuto alto.

03/11/2024: I found this restaurant 6 years ago. It is out of the way and by no means is a tourist spot. I loved it so much that I brought my sister and brother in law. Well, it did not disappoint. It was excellent. My sister is still talking about her vongole and how it was the best she's ever had. I would have to agree. Everything from the calamari to even the beans. Such an amazing food experience and then there's the view. How spectacular. Our waitress was very kind and helpful as well. I will be back for my visit next summer. I will definitely bring my appetite. I'm looking forward to trying other dishes.

22/08/2024: Trip out of town from Rome, discovering the beautiful Villa Farnese. Lunch time we find this splendid place, which at first sight is hidden, but then going down the ramp, you arrive in this immense place that was created from an ancient cellar... hence the name of the place. I took a small house starter, but the wonderful thing is the first courses. There are so many dishes that I would have liked to try them all. We took the red daisies with gorgonzola cream, speck and walnuts SPECTACULAR and ravioli filled with artichoke cream with mushrooms and truffles. But believe me, there are many other tasty and innovative first courses. For the second course I only had an entrecôte also here with gorgonzola cream. For dessert, hazelnut tiramisu, being Caprarola, a town that produces them. The wine was from neighboring Umbria. Excellent service. High cost but it's all for the quality!

16/12/2024: Site built specifically to attract people but in reality it is nothing more than a simple campaign. Simple rooms (empty) without fridge and this is a problem especially in summer, lack of services such as the basic bubble bath and company, but the worst is in the streets that lead to the rooms... dark enough to have to turn on the cell phone light and muddy views the rain, but the most disconcerting thing was the dinner with a fixed time at 8pm and not after (something not said at the time of booking) but the best part comes again, the tractor early in the morning at 8am in front of the bedroom window...lack of absolute respect for those who come with the idea of ​​relaxing. Absolutely rejected!!! Better and quieter places in the area

28/08/2024: Very friendly and professional guys, for me one of the best pizzas in Viterbo. Inside there is some seating for a quick meal but they mainly work with takeaway. Many interesting flavors for the palates that are enough for two to eat. The selection of beers is also excellent.

07/12/2024: The simplicity and quality of the raw materials combined with the expert hands of the restaurant staff mean that the experience will be repeated. The owner, wearing a characteristic bandana, is preparing the grilled meat; from his barbecue station he gives directions, suggestions and then prepares excellence for you. He's really good. The final surprise is the bill, absolutely competitive!!! Certainly the place and the menu are simple and without frills, but on the other hand you go to a restaurant to eat and feel good!!

06/12/2024: We were there for the first time today. For the lunch menu - for me fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, Bracola (cutlet) fresh from the grill, side dishes of fried potatoes with herbs, chard. A quarter liter of red house wine, 1 espresso. 18€ per person. Unbeatable!

27/11/2024: Good food, service a little slow and the name is right for the atmosphere. Absolute 0 heating and not suitable for eating peacefully.

11/12/2024: Arriving when the kitchen was closed, we were still cordially welcomed by the owner Roberto who prepared an exquisite mixed platter for us, all with high and refined quality local products. It deserves five stars not only for our experience, but also for the (heartfelt) comments of other diners and for the friendliness and competence of the staff!

05/12/2024: We had an amazing lunch and were served by (I think) the owner - what a very nice gentleman and so friendly and welcoming to our young toddler (just over 1,5yo). We had the pasta with boar and a boar stew with oven baked potatoes. All dishes were perfect in terms of taste, portion and nicely presented. The interior is a blend of modern and classic/historic building - but in a nice and cosy way. We were passing by, but woildn't skip this place when in the neighborhood - highly recommend, many thanks.

29/07/2024: Very kind and friendly staff. We had a really excellent and plentiful starter of cold cuts. As a first course, fettuccine with courgette cream, really tasty!

15/07/2024: The food is excellent, the service very attentive and the environment conveys immediate relaxation, thanks to the few seats and the possibility of eating under an olive tree with the sun setting behind you. Fair prices for the quality of meat offered and flavors that you don't taste every day. We will definitely be back

03/12/2024: We had lunch on Easter Sunday, an already established menu which confirmed our expectations. The place is small but characteristic, both the interior and exterior are well-kept, showing the attention and care of the staff. Although most of the potatoes were served in central plates, after an initial moment of perplexity regarding the portions, we had to change our minds as the central plates were more than abundant and allowed us not only to taste both first and second courses proposed but also to do an encore. Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

07/12/2024: Applausi allo Chef Carlo Tonnarini: ci ha accolti con il sorriso e ci ha regalato suggerimenti e perle di saggezza culinaria per poi deliziarci con dei piatti eccellenti sia per tecnica che per materie prime. Erano anni che non mangiavo così bene, sono rimasto davvero senza parole. Ci tornerò sicuramente con la famiglia e con gli amici. Complimenti!
