04/04/2026: I've eaten lake fish in Garga, Iseo, Como, Trasimeno... I've never seen such attention to detail in any restaurant, using locally sourced ingredients: the fish is caught by the father, prepared and cooked by the mother, and served by the children. Truly excellent, with decent portions and fair prices. A truly magical place, I hope they never change their formula because this one is a winner. Thank you so much for this experience!

22/05/2026: Poggio della Guardia isn't just a restaurant, it's a place where you truly feel at home. And this is thanks above all to Daniela, the owner. From the first day my husband and I met her, she conveyed the simplicity, familiarity, and authenticity we were looking for and that perfectly embodied us. So much so that, as soon as we left, despite it being the first place we'd visited, we had already chosen our wedding venue. And today we can confidently say we couldn't have made a better choice. Daniela made our wedding magical, taking care of every detail with love, passion, and extraordinary kindness. Her staff was also exceptional: they made us feel like kings and queens, and the same special treatment was reserved for all our guests. There's really nothing to say about the food other than that it was all extraordinary: generous appetizers, packed with delicious treats that left everyone speechless, delicious first courses, all homemade... but the real star was the pork cheek with porcini mushrooms: something indescribable, a dish everyone should try at least once in their life! We would choose Poggio della Guardia a thousand times over and are certain we'll return, both for future events and simply for pizza with friends. 31/05/2026: So much beauty and so much life in one place! Fabione and Daniela welcomed me with a wide smile, ready to create a sandwich for me! Now on the menu there's a sandwich called Antonella! We got to talking, and they made me feel at home! A positive turning point in my day! Sometimes all it takes is a small act of kindness, warmth, and hospitality, and if it's accompanied by an amazing sandwich, you've truly made a difference! Go there and be amazed!!!

We requested an early breakfast to allow us to start our journey in cooler temperatures, but unfortunately, this was not accommodated. For convenience, we made our own way to the first open café at 6:00 a.m., even though breakfast was already included in the package.

16/06/2026: As for the restaurant alone, I found it to be quite charming, with a lovely outdoor setting. The food I tried was disappointing: the liver crostini were excellent, but the arrosticini were too dry and flavorless. My wife had chickpea and potato meatballs, and the first course was also good (the sauce was excellent), but the potatoes were dry. The service was good, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The price was average.

20/02/2026: A small gourmet restaurant serving creative dishes that respect tradition and the finest ingredients. We enjoyed all of Chef Francesco's dishes and highly recommend his cuisine. Don't limit yourself to pizza! The prices are absolutely fair and allowed us to enjoy Michelin-starred dishes we wouldn't have been able to afford elsewhere. The presentation of dishes and ingredients is meticulous without becoming ostentatious. The service is meticulously timed between courses, allowing you to enjoy your meal with care and attention!

16/07/2026: In short, rudeness is a real problem with this ice cream shop!! As far as I know, there's always arguments with one customer or another. It's clear that the owner doesn't like being questioned. She acts all big and answers rudely, instead of learning to be polite towards a customer and perhaps admit when she's wrong and not put words in her mouth that no one asked of her! And provide her service with the politeness and certain courtesy of a professional towards the customer! And maybe I'd stop writing nonsense!!!

05/07/2026: Two off-menu, corpse-colored pasta dishes paid 14 euros. The duck breast was actually sliced ​​duck "flavored" with a rancid apricot cream and less than a kilo of baby spinach. No discernible flavor. The cured meats were banal. I recommend it only for meat, but without expecting anything fancy or off-menu for children, because in that case, as they say in my area, "they'll give you a syringe."
