Quality local products from Viterbo or Italian producers specializing in unique ingredients. If you're looking for a place to eat until you drop and pay little, this isn't the place. Instead, you'll find seasonal dishes that showcase local produce and craftsmanship, not to mention a vast selection of wines. Careful research and attention to detail are key.
And the quality-price ratio is absolutely competitive.
It deserves more than 5 stars. Highly recommended.
14/02/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance. We booked it through Booking.com. It's a restaurant/pizzeria with six rooms upstairs, mostly used by pilgrims on the Via Francigena. It was a surprise. The place is nice and well-kept. The rooms are large, comfortable, and simple, yet very cozy. The restaurant/pizzeria is excellent. The food and drink are excellent. Excellent wine list. The food and wine are especially local. The focus is on organic, local, and social aspects. A great experience.

10/03/2026: One of the best places to have lunch and dinner in the area. Tables inside and outside, genuine and exquisite home made food. The owners, Alessandro and Sabrina, are very professional and friendly and make the client comfortable since he/she enter the restaurant. Finally prices are really affordable!

28/02/2026: Aside from the 80s dishes, which are always good if done well, the quality of the seafood cuisine is beyond me, even if they blindfolded me and threw in random ingredients, I couldn't prepare something like this. Low-quality ingredients and, above all, even worse, assembled, inedible, indigestible, absolutely to be avoided.
08/02/2026: We happened upon it by chance on a Sunday during Carnival, and were warmly welcomed even though we hadn't booked. We had a seafood menu, a meat menu, and a children's menu. Everything was excellent, especially the rice with scampi cream. Impeccable service! The lady at the counter was incredibly kind; she brought a sketchbook and pencils for the little girl, and when we left, she lent us an umbrella to get to the car because it was raining! All spontaneous and appropriate gestures, anticipating the customer's needs!
The bill came to just under €30 per person.
A small glass of hazelnut cream was kindly offered.

Daniela made us feel at ease from the very first moment and made our wedding day perfect, better than we could have dreamed. Any positive adjective to describe Poggio della Guardia, Daniela, and her staff would be an understatement!
08/02/2026: A stunning renovated venue, the cuisine is still top-notch, the indoor dining room is immense, the space for ceremonies is practically a dream, and the owner has a textbook ability to put everything together to perfection. What a treat and what a wonderful place.

23/08/2025: I knew I could get delicious gelato in Italy. But Lolla Gelato is on another level! They truly celebrate the art of gelato making. Every flavor I tried was outstanding. Not overly sweet, not artificial, not watered down. Instead, a symphony of natural and, above all, local flavors, like blackberry, fig, or peach. For me, one of the best gelato shops in the world! Excellent, keep it up!

The cuisine is excellent, and Elisa's welcome was truly a plus. Before leaving, we had the pleasure of meeting the venue's manager, Mr. Maurizio, a delightful and elegant person, who helped us experience the true soul of this historic building.
Recommended for anyone seeking a unique, original, yet traditional experience rooted in the authentic values of life.

The name is certainly fitting.
What makes it unique, and what I particularly appreciate, is the quality of the food combined with the friendly atmosphere that reigns there.
Highly recommended.
21/10/2025: An incredible experience with the owner, a great entertainer who makes us feel like we've known each other for a long time due to his way of doing things... excellent food, especially the fried chicken, and excellent craft beers too. In short, a place worth trying for anyone in the area... we'll definitely be back.
