An excellent discovery in the Tuscia area of ​​Viterbo: Il Vecchio Mulino is a typical restaurant where great cuisine and the beauty of the region meet. If you can, book a table on the small terrace: the view of Civita di Bagnoregio and the ravines is simply breathtaking and worth the trip alone. Then the food arrives, and you realize it's not just the location that's special: lamb offal, tagliolini with fresh asparagus and truffle, roast lamb, pici pasta with bacon, pecorino cheese, and cherry tomatoes... all truly excellent. In short, a perfect day. Also noteworthy is the service, very friendly and professional from the moment you book. Places like this don't just happen: it's definitely worth a visit, but book the terrace ahead of time because it's the restaurant's true gem.

An excellent trattoria, where you can take a delightful journey through the most authentic flavors of Tuscia. Convenient parking is available just a few meters away, offering a stunning view of Civita di Bagnoregio. The welcoming and comfortable restaurant doesn't have many tables, so it's best to reserve in advance. The selection isn't overwhelming, which is another plus: everything served is carefully prepared. From my personal experience, the meatballs, guinea fowl, crostini with lard and giblets, and local wines (the Seiano Rosso is excellent) are all delicious. The polenta and cheese-filled ravioli and the Civita di Bagnoregio-style beans are superb. Highly recommended.

A little gem overlooking the Calanchi. Very good food, spotless bathrooms, and truly friendly, unobtrusive staff. I recommend the ribollita, roast potatoes, and beans alla Bagnorese. The local wines are definitely worth trying. See you soon for dessert!

Small, but precisely because it's small, it's very welcoming. Excellent from appetizers to desserts. A round of applause for the rigatoni alla vaccinara, good tagliata, and superb crumbled steak with blackberry jam. The service is attentive and friendly. A top-notch restaurant specializing in local dishes from the Upper Tuscia region. We tried the oxtail stew, which was excellent, and the pici with bacon and the mixed crostini appetizers were equally delicious! I also highly recommend trying the beans!

04/05/2026: We were recommended by the owner of B&B Viterbo Antica, Patrizia and Gianluca, and we had a wonderful meal—unique and truly excellent dishes. Chiara, the owner's daughter, was very kind and friendly. An excellent restaurant!!! Thank you, absolutely recommended.
27/04/2026: Overall, an excellent lunch, definitely five-star. Between appetizers (mixed platters and bruschetta with bacon and cheese), first courses (various pappardelle, strozzapreti, fusilli, all homemade), and desserts (pies and tozzetti), you won't leave the table empty-handed. I haven't tried the main courses, but I'll be back for those. The pasta dishes were excellent, and the appetizer platters were even better (the bruschetta was delicious, and the jams included with the platter were amazing on bread). The desserts were so-so: I was told the tozzetti were good and flavorful, but the sour cherry tart was a bit dry, hard, and perhaps not even had much jam. The bathroom was tiny, but the restaurant was warm and welcoming. Parking nearby was free. We paid €40 per person, including a bottle of wine and a few glasses. Overall
