31/01/2026: A little gem overlooking the Calanchi. Very good food, spotless bathrooms, and truly friendly, unobtrusive staff. I recommend the ribollita, roast potatoes, and beans alla Bagnorese. The local wines are definitely worth trying. See you soon for dessert!

03/05/2026: A wonderful experience, good value. We ate lake fish, especially whitefish (marinated, grilled, tartare, with pasta). The eel and trout were also excellent. The evening meal was delicious. I recommend making a reservation and asking to have lunch/dinner on the lakeside veranda.

02/05/2026: A beautiful place, but I get the impression that foreigners are seen as a source of extra income. One person’s meal was served much earlier than the other’s. The food was average. We didn't receive a bill or receipt, and the price was inflated; after adding up the prices from the menu and the final patent later, it turned out we were charged over 10 euros more than we should have been. We weren’t allowed to sit on the covered porch because we were told that the seats there “were reserved,” yet in the evening only one family showed up and took one of the many tables there. The same thing happened to the guests from Hungary and the Americans; they were also directed to tables under the trees. We think this was done so that none of the Italians would see the billing practices. The waitress wasn't allowed to take money from us; her boss came over to collect the payment. It’s a shame that such a beautiful place is so poorly managed. It's a beautiful place, but I have the impression that foreigners are a source of additional income. 13/04/2026: A cutting-edge osteria with interesting dishes. Some things stood out to me, such as the salmon-based homage to Pollock and the ravioli with octopus amatriciana, both delicious! Overall, the most popular dishes were the two first courses and the appetizers. The wine selection, which the chef offered us, was also very good.

04/05/2026: We were recommended by the owner of B&B Viterbo Antica, Patrizia and Gianluca, and we had a wonderful meal—unique and truly excellent dishes. Chiara, the owner's daughter, was very kind and friendly. An excellent restaurant!!! Thank you, absolutely recommended.

27/04/2026: Overall, an excellent lunch, definitely five-star. Between appetizers (mixed platters and bruschetta with bacon and cheese), first courses (various pappardelle, strozzapreti, fusilli, all homemade), and desserts (pies and tozzetti), you won't leave the table empty-handed. I haven't tried the main courses, but I'll be back for those. The pasta dishes were excellent, and the appetizer platters were even better (the bruschetta was delicious, and the jams included with the platter were amazing on bread). The desserts were so-so: I was told the tozzetti were good and flavorful, but the sour cherry tart was a bit dry, hard, and perhaps not even had much jam. The bathroom was tiny, but the restaurant was warm and welcoming. Parking nearby was free. We paid €40 per person, including a bottle of wine and a few glasses. Overall

10/04/2026: Having frequented the restaurant in the past, I've found less attention to detail in the preparation of the same dishes: for example, bringing meat that was obviously almost burnt to the table would be a no-no. The menu hasn't been updated. The quality-price ratio has declined compared to the past.

08/04/2026: We went there at Easter during a trip to Viterbo, encouraged by the good reviews, partly because it was the only one with room. We sat outside on two rickety chairs, as was the table. They only had two set menus, with a 45-euro main course or without a 35-euro one, and we chose the 45-euro one. I hope it normally deserves its good reviews, but for us it was a huge disappointment. The appetizer consisted of nine very thin slices of salami, a sugar egg, a spoonful of cold and tasteless coratella (a kind of lamb coratella), and two dry slices of what was supposedly an old Easter cake, without salt or sugar, just a strong and disgusting aroma of cinnamon. The only decent first course was gnocchi with lamb ragù, but it was a diet portion. Lamb for the second course was also a paltry portion of mostly sinewy and inedible pieces. For dessert, an almost invisible and tasteless triangle of cherry tart. A liter of seltzer water and barely a quarter of a standard house wine. In terms of quantity, quality, and price, it was a complete disappointment. I hope it's different on other days, otherwise it's just a strange idea to stay away, especially since the food in Viterbo is generally good, as we saw at the other restaurants we visited on our tour.

05/04/2026: This restaurant in the heart of Bolsena's historic center took me back to the '90s, with an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was extremely courteous, and the owner was helpful and attentive, even recommending an excellent bottle of local wine at a truly fair price. The two of us enjoyed four portions of fried artichokes, two lake-sourced pasta dishes, and two tagliata with arugula, parmesan, and cherry tomatoes: everything was simply delicious, with meat that melted in your mouth. To round out the meal, two amaro liqueurs and a bottle of water. The final bill? More than fair for the quality and quantity. I highly recommend this place... I'd go back a thousand times over!

28/03/2026: Trattoria in the historic center, welcoming and clean, with excellent service. The dishes are carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Try the "carbonpesce" pasta and the citrus-flavored whitefish fillet. Right prices.

06/04/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Il Divino Ronciglione on Easter Sunday, and I must say it was a truly positive experience. We chose their seafood menu and were impressed right from the appetizer: a full 10 courses, including both raw and hot dishes, all generous and delicious. These included beans and mussels, octopus and potatoes, seafood salad, shrimp cocktail, marinated anchovies, smoked and marinated salmon, vegetable and shrimp couscous, mussel sauté, and baby octopus Luciana-style. A truly remarkable variety! Next, two excellent first courses: risotto with scampi cream and seafood fettuccine, both flavorful and well-prepared. For the main course, there was fried shrimp and calamari, accompanied by salad: everything was delicious and well-fried (not those heavy fried dishes). Also noteworthy are the generous portions and the service: despite the restaurant being busy, the service was prompt and well-managed. Special thanks to Nemanja, the waiter who served us: friendly, pleasant, and always available, he made lunch even more enjoyable. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who, like us, wants to eat excellent seafood while on vacation!

31/01/2026: A well-deserved five stars for Bar Giusti in Montefiascone, a true gem just steps from the hospital. It's one of those places that, once discovered, becomes a regular fixture, so much so that it's probably the best bar in town without exaggerating. The atmosphere is refined, welcoming, and always clean, perfect for both a leisurely breakfast and a quick break during the day. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling, making everyone feel instantly at ease, even at peak times. The real highlight, however, are the desserts: simply out of this world. The croissants, pastries, and baked goods are of the highest quality, fresh, and irresistible, with a clear focus on the finest ingredients. Every bite confirms the establishment's reputation and makes it difficult to choose what to order, because everything is so inviting. The coffee is also excellent, well-made and consistent, ideal for pairing with the sweet specialties. Bar Giusti is a must-try for those who live in Montefiascone and a must-see for anyone passing through. Highly recommended.

15/03/2026: A tour of Tuscia cannot exclude the village of masterpieces, Bassano Romano. A discovery of friendly people, nature, tastes, and flavors. At Emme's house, they welcomed us and recommended a game-based menu. Everything was excellent, even the desserts, some different and original. We certainly appreciated the rustic, refined atmosphere, the professional and friendly service, the original cuisine with almost impossible-to-find dishes, and authentic flavors. 01/04/2026: We come here periodically with friends and relatives for someone's birthday, and I have to say that this last visit was very disappointing, especially regarding the service, which was very slow. We arrived at 1.15pm and the starter was served at 1.45pm, and the first course an hour and a half later, which made us give up on ordering the second course. It's a shame because the food is very good.

28/03/2026: We came for lunch with the family on the recommendation of my colleague Giuseppe, originally from Vetralla. Excellent value for money, with a wide variety of dishes, all delicious and of a good standard. The appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, and vegetables was delicious, as was the lombrichelli alla amatriciana, the lamb cacciatore style was surprising, and the side dishes included vegetables, chicory, and broccoli, both sautéed and well-prepared. The house red was also acceptable. Keep up the good work.
