The photos don't do the trick! A lunch that I will remember with great pleasure: ingredients and raw materials from the area of truly the best quality. Ditto the wines. Very tasty menu proposal, also healthy, genuine, but with attention to tradition. Sweetness, availability and professionalism made the service impeccable. In short, it would be nice to come back! Finally original dishes, prepared and presented to perfection. Simple environment, natural furnishings, perfectly integrated into the atmosphere of the village of Calcata, kind and attentive lady, manages the restaurant with her husband who cooks. Carefully chosen and fresh ingredients, local products and great skill in transforming them into excellent dishes. Passed with full marks!

Questo ristorante è sempre una garanzia. Ogni piatto è preparato con amore e si sente. Gli gnocchi viola sono strepitosi, come i salumi e i formaggi. Questa volta volta non abbiamo assaggiato le carni ma ricordo ancora il meraviglioso stracotto alle nocciole preso la volta scorsa. Bravi, bravi, continuate così !!

Locale situato all’ingresso di Calcata, con pochi coperti, alcuni all’aperto, tovaglie di carta, menù con numero limitato di scelte, tutte di terra, con molte preparazioni della tradizione della zona.
Molto buono il tagliere con 4 assaggi di formaggi, buoni gli gnocchi con abbondante ragù di cinghiale. Abbiamo assaggiato l’ottimo e morbidissimo coniglio leprino, una razza allevata nel viterbese la cui carne è particolarmente pregiata perché molto saporita, ricca in proteine e povera di grassi. Buono il vino cesanese locale. Il servizio è stato gentile ma lento, le porzioni moderate. Abbiamo pagato 30 euro a persona e ci è sembrato adeguato.

Really nice and welcoming place. It rarely happens that you find such beautiful restaurants where you can eat really well. The feeling you get is that of being at home and the kitchen, simple and with attention to the smallest details, makes everything even more pleasant. If we were to return to Calcata, we would know where to go to eat. Super recommended.

Beautiful discovery!
Excellent food, welcoming atmosphere and friendly, polite staff.
We had an exquisite appetizer, a version of egg with crouton and pecorino cheese never seen before. Not to mention the first ones! We had tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and a chickpea and chestnut soup.
We had lunch outside even though the sky was a little gray but it was worth it! Even inside the place is very welcoming and warm.
Prices absolutely average.
If you pass through Calcata you absolutely must stop here!!

Ristorantino proprio a ridosso delle mura di ingresso del borgo di Calcata vecchia, con posti a sedere sia all'interno, sia all'esterno (terrazzino ben allestito e curato)
Struttura molto carina e raccolta.
Ottima l'accoglienza delle ragazze che con cortesia e sorriso ti lasciano il tempo di rilassarti e scegliere con calma le pietanze e i vini.
Menù con piatti limitati (sempre meglio poco e fresco che tanto e....), ben preparati e impiattati, dove ci si accorge subito della bontà e della ricercatezza dei prodotti che sono a km 0 e preparati con cura in casa. Ottimo davvero il rapporto qualità-prezzo.
Ci tornerò volentieri e consiglio certamente a tutti!
