Located at the entrance to the beautiful Calcata, Terra Mia restaurant offers remarkable cuisine crafted with care and skill. Excellent ingredients, friendly and attentive service. An experience worth repeating.

An intimate and quaint restaurant. The ingredients are good quality, but in my opinion, more attention to detail is needed in the kitchen (for example, the sautéed chicory was too "wet"). I recommend the hazelnut and honey semifreddo because it's original and tasty. Cons: Being lactose intolerant, I asked for my first course to be prepared without cheese. However, other diners at my table also chose the same dish, and they too were served without cheese. I understand that, for convenience in the kitchen, a single pan was prepared and that the cheese, rather than being added during the stirring, could be added later by those who wished. However, a notice at the table beforehand would have been appreciated. Also, the bathroom doors don't have locks. At least a latch should be installed. We'll try again. UPDATE IN RESPONSE: My criticisms are simply based on some misunderstandings that, in my opinion, occurred. When the menu indicates that cheese (an allergen) is present, I expect the dish to arrive with it already included (for example, like in carbonara) and not served separately. Otherwise, the request to remove it from my dish would have made no sense (and given what you just said, it doesn't even make sense to list it as an allergen because it's served separately). I then pointed out my lactose intolerance and was told that the first course could be made without the cheese (without specifying that it was on the side; it was passed off as a change made during preparation; in fact, the waitress preferred that I speak directly with the kitchen staff). Furthermore, to reinforce the point, when serving, the waitress specified: "All dishes were prepared without cheese; anyone who wants can add it." In light of this, tell me how I should have interpreted this. The key in the bathroom door didn't work for any of the six people at our table (perhaps it was just bad luck). As for the chicory, if no one ever complained, I'm glad...our dishes were watered down. I'm sorry the criticism is taken so harshly. I understand the staff's commitment, but to err is human, so much so that I ended the review with: "We'll try again." But given the difficulty in understanding each other, perhaps it's better not to; I'll leave that to others. Enjoy your life.

Located in the small but characteristic village of Calcata, this small restaurant was a surprise, run by a young couple who knew how to mix the quality of local products from small but excellent businesses with excellent execution of the dishes, the wine list is also excellent... well done, we need these realities

The place is very welcoming and the staff are very kind. The food was excellent and the quality/price ratio was excellent. We had an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses (very well described), tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, red potato gnocchi with goat cheese, baked potatoes, artichokes, and delicious desserts (tiramisu 😍). We had a wonderful time and it was a wonderful discovery!

A wonderful discovery on a Sunday in March. FABULOUS DISHES. From homemade starters to dessert. One of the best tiramisu I've ever had. Excellent value for money, and a very good wine selection. A negative review is impossible without intention.

A great experience! A small restaurant at the entrance to the village of Calcata. We ordered two appetizers of cheeses and cured meats, two fettuccine with truffles, and two desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the quality/price ratio was excellent! Fast and friendly service! We'll be back!

Ambience: Small but very welcoming and clean! The staff was attentive, very kind, and helpful! The food was sublime! High-quality products, well-prepared! There wasn't a single dish that disappointed us; in fact, the more courses arrived, the more amazed we were by the flavors! Congratulations! We'll be back soon!
