03/06/2026: Excellent restaurant in a small village, very convenient for those passing through Orte who want to stop for a bite. Fantastic location, friendly staff who know how to serve food. We've eaten here twice, and both times confirmed the excellent quality of the dishes. The carbonara-filled ravioli and picanha are definitely a must-try.

18/05/2026: Exceptional swami meat! Florentina was not great. Beautiful decor and kind staff. Minimum meat order was 1kg per meat type, which we did not know before coming to the restaurant. On the pricier side. Dessert was delicious as well!

23/06/2026: We had lunch for 4 people, the rude waiter rushed us, we arrived at 1:30 pm he stopped me from ordering a first course because I had to order two identical first courses, rude he has to tell me what to eat because he said there are only three burners in the kitchen... super salty food... when we asked for the bill he said 120 euros but didn't give a receipt, I had to close the receipt myself. Learn how to make receipts, then there were a couple of foreigners who wanted to pay by card and the waiter says the POS doesn't work 😂😂😂 he said cash cash. Never again. Learn how to make receipts, tourists are not all as stupid as you think!!!!!

20/04/2026: A family-run restaurant with a REAL host who makes you feel right at home. Truly excellent customer service: if we had any intolerances, they were kind enough to let us speak directly with the chef. Viterbo cuisine made with local products, where the food is delicious!

20/07/2026: AMAZING LEMON TART! I was passing through the area for a birthday party, and decided (from Google Maps) to stop here for a bite. I'm happy to say that the lemon tarts were delicious, and the two girls who served me were super kind!

09/02/2026: I've been there tons of times about 15+ times and I've been back so now it's more real than ever. Well, the owner is very welcoming, a little business-like, trying to make you buy more, but that's okay. The off-menu items are total gambles. In short, it wasn't what we understood it to be, but it was okay. The crab is the blue crab, known for portions of meat between 20-40 grams per crab, with extreme pain in having to shell it, given that compared to other species, it has a very compartmentalized carapace internally, with partitions that hinder the extraction of the meat. The price is also very low, so I give it a 2/5 rating, despite the good taste. In an AYC restaurant, even in the evening, with €30 you can get by here if you want to eat good things, it's like an Italian restaurant, but with raw materials that, in the case of the blue crab, are highly disappointing. A further example to my thesis is the duck, which in AYC restaurants we can say is not good, here it is good, but the price is literally like going to an AYC restaurant for lunch. The sushi, the special ones like the rainbow, are €14, which For 8 rolls for lunch, you get an AYC. So, is it good to eat? Yes (be careful what you order), are you welcomed (yes, a bit business-like), and do you spend little? Absolutely too much (if you order the wrong things), or even more than an AYC if you stick to the "humble" options.

We chose them because, with their professionalism, kindness, and exquisite food, they made our day wonderful. Daniela immediately made me feel at ease, helped me with the organization, and took care of everything from the civil ceremony to the lunch, all the way to the cake. She and her staff were incredibly attentive to the smallest details, taking care of every little request. Thank you, thank you so much for the wonderful day you gave us!

22/05/2026: Poggio della Guardia isn't just a restaurant, it's a place where you truly feel at home. And this is thanks above all to Daniela, the owner. From the first day my husband and I met her, she conveyed the simplicity, familiarity, and authenticity we were looking for and that perfectly embodied us. So much so that, as soon as we left, despite it being the first place we'd visited, we had already chosen our wedding venue. And today we can confidently say we couldn't have made a better choice. Daniela made our wedding magical, taking care of every detail with love, passion, and extraordinary kindness. Her staff was also exceptional: they made us feel like kings and queens, and the same special treatment was reserved for all our guests. There's really nothing to say about the food other than that it was all extraordinary: generous appetizers, packed with delicious treats that left everyone speechless, delicious first courses, all homemade... but the real star was the pork cheek with porcini mushrooms: something indescribable, a dish everyone should try at least once in their life! We would choose Poggio della Guardia a thousand times over and are certain we'll return, both for future events and simply for pizza with friends. Thanks again to Daniela, who has become a true go-to for us. ❤️

06/07/2026: A gem in Civita! We were immediately struck by the location: intimate and meticulously maintained, with trees and lights creating the perfect atmosphere. The young staff is very friendly and, last but not least, very knowledgeable. Despite my allergies, they were immediately available to create a special platter. P.S. The tiramisu is phenomenal!
