A metà strada is a small place where you can grab sandwiches or fried dishes. Staff were polite. The sandwiches are big, but for my taste the bread was a bit hard. I tried the frittura di calamari: we ordered the extra-large portion, but for the price I expected more—it felt a little disappointing. Overall, it’s okay for a quick stop.

We stopped by chance and had a delicious sandwich with warm bread. The only problem is the smell of fried oil that lingers in your clothes after you eat.

We stopped here on our way back from Santa's Kingdom. It's a small place with seating, located in front of the archaeological park. Good quality, very fair price, you leave happy and with a full belly! Special mention to the very friendly owner!

08/03/2026: Quality, not quantity, is king here. Quality local products from Viterbo or Italian producers specializing in unique ingredients. If you're looking for a place to eat until you drop and pay little, this isn't the place. Instead, you'll find seasonal dishes that showcase local produce and craftsmanship, not to mention a vast selection of wines. Careful research and attention to detail are key. And the quality-price ratio is absolutely competitive. It deserves more than 5 stars. Highly recommended.
14/02/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance. We booked it through Booking.com. It's a restaurant/pizzeria with six rooms upstairs, mostly used by pilgrims on the Via Francigena. It was a surprise. The place is nice and well-kept. The rooms are large, comfortable, and simple, yet very cozy. The restaurant/pizzeria is excellent. The food and drink are excellent. Excellent wine list. The food and wine are especially local. The focus is on organic, local, and social aspects. A great experience.

18/04/2026: I'm a pizza lover and have eaten at the best pizzerias in Italy (including Seu, Kalo, and Attilio). Well, Gabriele's pizza is truly top-notch, top-notch. The rest of the menu is also good, but you have to have at least one pizza anyway.
22/03/2026: Beautiful location, immersed in the greenery of the Viterbo countryside. Excellent food and highly professional staff. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
