12/10/2025: When I want to eat well, when my wife, who is celiac, wants to eat well and find everything she needs, like someone who isn't, then an hour's drive from Rome is this perfect restaurant. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. Good food, well prepared, very good. The restaurant is old and well-kept. The wines and spirits are excellent. The village is beautiful, and the clock tower is worth a visit. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the products, the quality of the cuisine, and the quality of the service. Recommended.

12/10/2025: Very kind and friendly girl. Superb food and a very fair price. We had a starter of Fassona beef tartare with a crispy egg and truffle, and fettuccine with fresh porcini mushrooms. For main courses, rabbit and turbot. Small and very welcoming place. Very, very good 💪🏻

18/10/2025: Went here to dinner with my family last night, two adults to kids, the service was fantastic, the meal to die for. Food tasted incredible, but I ate the lamb and everyone else in my family had a pasta dish. I have been sick with food poisoning for the last 24 hours. It has been utterly awful experience. I wish I could just remember this as a fantastic experience but unfortunately it went down hill fast. Lost an entire day to discover the city.

16/10/2025: We had a wonderful lunch here with a small group. The menu offered dishes to suit a variety of tastes, and everyone enjoyed everything. The wine list was also good.

26/08/2025: I've never had such a positive experience! The owner explains the dishes with passion... you don't even need to read the menus! We arrived with four motorcycles and he told us to park them right in the restaurant so we could observe them.

26/07/2025: We visited this enchanting restaurant last night and were deeply impressed. They reserved a secluded table for us in an intimate and refined atmosphere—we were seated among the columns, simply captivated by the beauty of the place. Special thanks go to Mauro and Giovanna, the owners. They are a lovely couple, welcoming and attentive. Mauro personally explained the menu to us, with passion and warmth: a truly unique and personal approach. Everything—from the wine to the food—was excellent. In particular, the porcini mushroom carpaccio won us over. An unforgettable experience, combining taste, aesthetics, and an almost magical atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

15/10/2025: The old tavern is always a guarantee. I've returned here after years, and the food remains just as good. Sure, the prices used to be more affordable, but considering the quality of the meat, you're paying a fair price. Recommended.

13/10/2025: The tavern is located in the center of Viterbo. The interior is striking, all stone. The menu is almost entirely meat-based, from every type and source. We ordered a medium-rare tagliata (rather tough for my taste), chicory (decent), baked potatoes (good), and desserts (good). The place quickly fills with the smell of meat, which lingers in the room, probably because there's insufficient ventilation. The staff was rather brusque and unsympathetic, one young woman in particular. The quality/price ratio was decent.

09/10/2025: A very good restaurant. A cozy atmosphere complements the sophisticated menu. The wine recommendation was exactly what we wanted. The Piedmontese beef tartare was sensational. Chef Tiziana Favi and her husband took plenty of time for us.

26/09/2025: It turns out to be one of the best restaurants for anyone who loves authentic Mediterranean cuisine, can read a menu, and makes the effort to speak the local language. The quality is truly top-notch; we were very satisfied and were happy to pay the modest bill.

17/10/2025: Perfect spot for a takeout lunch on my last day in town! I’m sorry I didn’t find it sooner! There’s a buffet style set up with all of the dishes spread out on a counter top. You choose what you would like and they dish it out and heat it up (and in my case pack it up). I ordered chicory greens, a baked seasoned pumpkin dish, a couple of chicken wings(why does chicken in Europe taste so much better than in the United States?!?), ravioli, lasagna and cannelloni and OMG everything was so delicious! I don’t leave a lot of reviews but I HAD to for this place! If you’re ever in town, you should check it out. I didn’t ask, but I got the feeling that they use a lot of local ingredients. Oh, and it’s really affordable. 15 € for all of that and I could only eat half of what I got. But I won’t let it go to waste, I know what I’m eating for dinner tonight!

10/10/2025: A family atmosphere that exudes warmth and authenticity, with homemade pasta that takes you back to the days of old. I highly recommend stopping here if you're in Soriano: everything is excellent! Try the different first courses, they're truly exceptional.

The platters are generous and beautifully presented, full of select cured meats and cheeses, perfect for sharing. The drinks are carefully prepared, balanced, and professionally served—not the usual improvised cocktails, but true, expertly crafted mixes. The prices are more than fair considering the quality and generous portions, making Marco's Bar an ideal destination for those seeking a hearty, high-quality aperitivo in Viterbo. Ultimately, a place that combines excellent food, well-made drinks, and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended for aperitifs and evenings with friends: we'll definitely be back!

09/09/2025: Excellent food: I've been wanting to eat at this restaurant/trattoria for a few years, and my expectations were fully met. The first courses, in particular, were delicious, well-seasoned, and incredibly flavorful (pappardelle with wild boar and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms). I'll be back!
