21/05/2025: A pleasant restaurant with large spaces and appropriate distances between the tables, we ate very well and spent the right amount

12/05/2025: Excellent food and wine! The service was a bit slow but we were a big table with 15 people so all was forgiven once the food was served. Highly recommend the pasta with truffles, one of the best we have ever had. The extensive wine celler very impressive!! Would definitely return if we are in the area again.

26/05/2025: In visita a Calcata siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante con le famiglie e ci siamo trovati magicamente. Il locale molto ben curato si trova proprio all’inizio del borgo antico e offre sistemazioni sia all’interno che all’esterno. Noi siamo stati fatti accomodare in una saletta interna molto bella e riservata. Il menù è vario e ricco di piatti interessanti, ogni portata è stata ottima. Molto buona anche la scelta dei vini, la proprietaria è di una gentilezza e cortesia uniche. Tornerei a Calcata solo per questo ristorante. Consigliatissimo

We booked the day before to be sure of finding a place and it is advisable to do so because, if you want to eat inside, the restaurant has two small but very intimate rooms. Normal waiting times and pleasant staff. Good quality food and fair prices. However, if you really want to make an observation, I would suggest increasing the portions which are at the minimum limit.

20/05/2025: The place itself is very cute. Terrible food and very bad pushy service. They serve artichokes (in oil) purportedly fresh from the farm It's from a can. The waiter was only interested in pushing food. He pushed the mozzarella (which was the only good thing) which was supposed to come with vegetables. I asked for the red peppers he was promoting, they didn't appear. When he brought the horrendous pasta with porcini i asked and he said it's finished. He offered Brockley which never came and he vanished, the certified liar. Avoid!!!

18/05/2025: We had booked at 1.30pm but we had an accident and arrived almost at 3pm. They were very kind, they let us eat without any rush (which given the time was not a small thing). We had two first courses and two second courses with porcini mushrooms. The pasta with artichokes was really excellent, not to mention the sliced ​​steak... perfectly cooked and very tender. We skipped the desserts only because we were full, but the look of the ones we saw passing by was inviting. Oh I forgot, while waiting for the first courses to arrive, they OFFERED us their panzanella... it's really worth it! Go and try it! Highly recommended

14/05/2025: First time partially disappointing: courteous and helpful staff, spacious place, complicated to find parking nearby. Excellent craft beer. I ordered a dish but it arrived cold at the table, I pointed it out and it had no particular effect. I await a future opportunity to update the review, hopefully for the better.

10/05/2025: Restaurant, pub, tavern... various impressions welcome the customer when he enters this restaurant idea. All positive after a moment of confusion... medieval tavern from Northern Europe or pub from the Irish hinterland? a shady environment, but with warm and welcoming tones, the fireplace placed in the center of the room is perfect. There is a wide choice on the menu, dishes in line with the style of the restaurant, but which also retain the Mediterranean soul. A bit of inexperience on the part of the staff, but a lot of friendliness. Worth trying, we will definitely be back.

14/05/2025: After years I returned to Sutri and logically I ate at LA SFERA D'ORO. I ate divinely as I remembered. Friendly, polite and above all excellent food. If you pass through Sutri go there and you will not regret it 👍

08/04/2025: The place is small but very welcoming, extremely clean and with attention to the smallest details, the owners are exquisite people, helpful and passionate about their work. The dishes are prepared with love and attention, real cuisine for celiacs, homemade pasta, desserts better than a pastry shop (trifle ABSOLUTELY worth trying), also gluten-free, excellent fried fish and what portions! We will definitely come back to visit you, in the meantime thank you for everything, rarely does a celiac manage to enjoy a king's lunch like at La Piroga!!!

The fish was good but I think the menu is missing some asterisks to indicate some frozen food. Abundant dishes, and very appreciable tiramisu. Expensive but not expensive. The cover charge (4€) includes bread and water.
