You arrive tired and hungry after the Via Francigena... and they welcome you with a smile, a hot shower, and the scent of homemade cake. The rooms smell of wood and lavender and are very clean... the silence is so intense you can hear the crickets chirping overtime. Dinner is delicious with natural food: even the meat is from their small, all-organic farm, and the eggs are from free-range hens. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and impeccably clean. The food is excellent, prepared with genuine, quality ingredients. I particularly appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and the time spent with those who live this place with passion, conveying a sincere love for a simple lifestyle, far from the frenzy and banality of everyday city life.
