You dine in a lovely, tranquil atmosphere with light background music that cheers up the evening. The gourmet dishes are of excellent quality. Of course, the price is noticeable, but it is money well spent....

03/04/2026: One of the worst meals I've ever had. My entrée was the raddichio salad which was an uninspired overly large dish with full pieces of walnut (not able to break them down a bit...) which made it awkward to eat. The tagliatelle dish had water at the bottom, with an overcooked pork ragu and beans. Absolutely tasteless, bland without any flavors whatsoever. I can make a better pasta dish than this. The bread felt like it was from two days ago and so hard that it was like a brick hitting my stomach. After that, I did not bother getting a desert. Worst of all this restaurant was recommended by my hotel 🤔

25/03/2026: There's no better way to end a visit to Tuscania than with dinner on Via Torre di Lavello. After a stroll in the adjacent park, stopping at the restaurant of the same name allows you to enjoy a unique atmosphere. The food is refined, with traditional dishes like wild boar cacciatora and appetizers featuring rich local ingredients. The staff was extremely kind, even to our four-legged friends, promptly bringing water. Sitting at the outdoor tables with a view of the medieval tower in the background makes everything even more evocative. A five-star experience I recommend to everyone.

21/04/2026: We were so hungry for good things... We ate super delicious, top-quality food, accompanied by the friendliness and warmth of the owners. Our hunger was more than satisfied, and even more. 05/01/2026: A shameful and unacceptable experience. I ordered a personalized cake, sending all the instructions very clearly, including a precise photo and specifying the text, decorations, and type of cream. Before ordering, I was assured that everything was fine. Evidently, this is not the case. The requested text was "Happy Birthday, Empress 21." The one I received was incorrect, with a word written in a nonsensical way, making the cake look embarrassing. Getting the wording wrong on a personalized cake is a serious mistake, demonstrating complete carelessness. Two decorative balls were added that were NEVER requested, completely random, not shown in the reference photo, and never agreed upon. Clearly, people decorate without even looking at what they're asking for. But the worst part is the quality of the product: I had requested Chantilly cream, but instead I received pastry cream, a completely different flavor than what I ordered. The sponge cake was disgusting, dry, heavy, and of such poor quality that the cake was barely eaten. Not to mention the way the cake was covered: edges without cream, gaps, and a cut in the top of the cake—a real disaster! Mistakes in the writing, decorations, filling, and even the base of the cake: a collection of errors that demonstrate a complete lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. After this experience, I categorically advise against this place, especially if you're looking for a personalized cake for an important occasion.

04/03/2026: Everything is always good, quiet place, nice outdoor parking, wheelchair accessible as in the restaurant, I recommend going there, the staff is knowledgeable, plenty of seating, you can vary from fried foods, pizza, sandwiches, etc..., also excellent for birthday parties or similar special events, the cost is not excessive, average, obviously always based on how hungry you are❗

16/10/2025: We're a group of Spaniards in Tuscania. We've been to several different places, and they've all been really nice except for this one. First of all, due to the language barrier, they brought us a pizza board that we NEVER ordered (she tried to give us the leftovers). She told us she only had that, and when we told her we wanted something else, she said goodbye. Once we paid for the drink, we were about to leave, and the owner said she'd made us a whole pizza (it had a tomato-based crust, nothing else, and again, WE NEVER ORDERED THAT), and she ended by saying that we should be Spanish and go back to our own country. The rest of the waiters were very nice. The owner was unpleasant and xenophobic. EDIT: I'm editing the review so I can respond to the owner. We arrived at 8:50 p.m., when the place, on Google, says it's open until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday. If you want to close early, it's not your customers' problem, as they arrived more than two hours early. If not, change the hours you listed on Google. Secondly, we NEVER got around to ordering ANYTHING. You brought us the leftovers you had, and when we paid for our drinks because you kicked us out for not wanting the leftovers, you said as we were leaving that you were making another pizza we DIDN'T ORDER. A pizza that was on the counter and was just dough and tomato, nothing else. At least you're not denying that you're a xenophobe who told us to go back to our country; that does you credit. I repeat: If you're coming from outside, don't visit this place. There are many others where you'll be treated with love and respect, and where you'll eat incredibly well.

12/02/2026: In the historic center of Tuscania, on the main street. Plenty of outdoor tables in the square in the summer, as well as seating on the veranda and inside. A beautiful location; you'll discover the rest for yourself. A pleasant stop.

12/04/2026: Overall, a positive experience. The service was decidedly chaotic: there were only three girls working in the dining room, which was clearly too few to handle the large crowds on a Sunday lunch. Once seated, we had to wait about 30 minutes before our order was taken. As mentioned, the staff was insufficient for the workload. There is no paper menu; the dishes are listed by the staff shortly before ordering. Personally, I would have preferred a written menu, especially since I couldn't remember everything. After this initial phase, the service was extremely fast. We ordered two first courses, amatriciana and cacio e pepe; to follow, my wife chose sautéed chicory, while I chose pork tenderloin with sautéed mushrooms. We ate really well.

07/04/2026: Excellent home cooking. There's not a huge selection of dishes, but the ones offered are authentic. The place is very rustic, but perfect for the food served. The gnocchi and tripe are highly recommended. It's a shame that the change in management a few years ago has led to a general decline.

04/05/2026: It's a shame there are only 5 stars, otherwise I would have given more. We went for lunch. The outdoor location was absolutely beautiful. The food was sublime, and the waiters were extremely kind and attentive to our every need. Excellent value. We'll definitely be back.

26/04/2026: Below average food. Very spicy snails. Delicious lombrichelli cacio e pepe, fettuccine with red shrimp and sour zucchini, so-so sea bream, good tiramisu, stale tart, dirty bathroom with toilet paper on the floor and doorknob. We had to send back the steak because it was raw. We waited 50 minutes before being served. Very cold and uncaring staff.
