My only hesitation in leaving a review is wanting to keep the secret of this wonderful place to myself! It's a fraschetta, not a restaurant in the traditional sense. But the set lunch menu is local, generous, good quality, excellent value for money, in an original setting (the "cave"), with a very warm welcome! For a gourmet stop in the Castelli, you couldn't ask for anything better.

Excellent place.. I was there for the first time.. the owners and those who work there are very kind, very polite and very friendly.. excellent dishes, a truly special cuisine.. we were satisfied also because we never finished eating.. I will gladly return.. Thank you for the beautiful day

We could sum it up by saying "Fabulous," but that would be an understatement. Let's talk about the location: Have you ever seen an osteria/fraschetta in a cave? Here it is! Let's talk about the service: the "real" one, not pretentious, but informal: "homey," beautiful and let's say a few words, maybe even four, about the food: Authentic flavors, products above all suspicion and above average. We can say that except for one or two dishes, we ate the entire menu: An appetizer worth a dinner, with quality cured meats and cheeses. We wanted to go all out: sautéed chicory, expertly made. Meatballs were perfectly balanced and soft, just as they should be, and a sauce that deserves a 10/10 rating. We finished it all off with a cacio e pepe lasagna made by grandma (an added bonus), fantastic. All washed down with a dry Romanella that spoke volumes! The price is right for the quality of the products, the service is fast and informal, and the location is truly breathtaking. Recommended? Yes, very much!

We went on March 14th for an aperitif. We had a Smarthbox gift package, and we loved it so much we ordered the tiramisu too! Compliments for the food, fresh and delicious, and for the staff, who were incredibly friendly! The atmosphere we were seated in perfectly complemented our dinner.
