Chalet del Pincio In Civitavecchia

Good place for breakfast on Civitavecchia. The staff is very friendly. Mostly are local and regular customers coming in for a quick coffee fix and pastries for breakfast. They have plenty of standing area inside the café and outside seating area behind the cafe for smoking customers. Plenty of choices for pastries and coffee. The coffee in Italy is just so good. Much better than those in US. The price range is very affordable. We ordered 2 cappuccino and 2 maritozzi (Brioche bun with cream filling). The size of these buns are not big. I could have consumed 2 in 1 serving. Total price for our breakfast was €6.40. Taste so delicious. I added pictures of menu they have in the café. I couldn't find them in this review, I hope you will find these useful.

The best gelatos in Civitavecchia

I'm a sailor, and I've travelled the world... This ice cream ( imho ) is probably the best that I've ever tasted. Dark chocolate, amarena ( cherry )... It's just amazing.

Excellent gelato with a wide selection, fantastic cakes, and exquisite pastries. Impeccable. It's always packed, and rightfully so.

Lots of fun! Our airbnb host recommended this place and it was quite lovely! Don't speak Italian, so it was a bit confusing, but I followed what other people were doing- purchase at cash register to the left of the gelato counter, then head to the gelato, grab a number ticket, then when your number comes up, head to the gelato counter and hand them your receipt and they'll dish up whatever kind you want! 😀

The ice creams are delicious. Special mention to the Nutella 👍
