My daughter and I stumbled upon this cute place and enjoyed it so much we went back again the next day. They make, in our opinion, the best Aperol Spritz in Rome. Dishes we enjoyed were eggplant parm, Amatricia, pasta with squid, artichokes, and pranzetta. Their menu is seasonal and fresh. If you are in Trastevere, this is where you should eat, or at least stop in for a drink.

Very good. My experiences with espresso in Rome weren't very positive. However, in this place, I had a good coffee. We also ordered a croissant, which was very good.
A very charming place, excellent service. I recommend it.
Honorable mention for the ceiling, which had coffee sacks, one of them with the inscription "coffees from Brazil".

404 Name Not Found is a cool bar in Trastevere, with a pleasant atmosphere and good vibes for an afternoon.
We discovered it while walking through the neighborhood's little streets, had a drink and ate some focaccias. The Hugo spritz was wonderful, very refreshing and balanced. The focaccia also surprised us, light, tasty and very well made.
A quick stop, but well worth it.

A real gem, stumbled upon while strolling through Trastevere! The place is truly delightful; every corner offers a conversation starter because it's a wonder. The table service is extremely courteous. A truly pleasant surprise. Perfect for a break before continuing your exploration of this part of Rome.

Trastevere hasn't been a hidden gem for a while, but there's still plenty to discover off the beaten path. Take this restaurant, for example. The menu is small and concise, and the daily specials are simply fantastic. I was there back in 2015 and went again recently. They had pasta with kale. Heavenly!
