A pleasant tavern with a cozy, warm atmosphere and quality food, though the portions were a bit small for my taste.
It's a place to eat at a leisurely pace; the tavern itself is perfect for that.
The service was impeccable, and the attention we received was very pleasant.

I went with my friends from Rome who introduced me to it, a real gem, it's a shame I didn't take photos yet, but I highly recommend it if you're in the Testaccio area!!!

I'm not sure if he was the owner or the manager, but his service was the best in Italy. You can tell he loves his job. The food was on another level; the best Porchetta Romana I've ever had, the artichoke was exquisite, and the pasta was more than perfect. They also have a great selection of Italian wines from north to south.

A fantastic experience, as every time we come to this restaurant.
The atmosphere is romantic and intimate.
The wait staff (Andrea and Cristian) are so knowledgeable they can explain every single dish and wine to you.
We're amazed every time we come here.
We'll definitely return whenever we can!

The cheese/meat/bread/glass of red were excellent but 29 euro is too much for a small plate like this, I don’t think it’s even 200gram of meat.

I had lunch for the first time at Taverna Volpetti, an offshoot of the famous deli of the same name in Testaccio. I must say I went in with high expectations and left slightly disappointed. I ordered a charcuterie board as an appetizer and spaghetti carbonara. The board, which included a selection of cheeses and honey, was overall satisfying, but I can't say the same about the carbonara. The cream was, in my opinion, too thick, and the tasting was a bit difficult; honestly, the plate—overly large—also contributed to the overall experience. Overall, the prices seemed a bit high for the area, but I understand the sourcing of the finest ingredients and the selection of some truly unique wines. Perhaps €11 for a glass is still a bit too much.
