A favorite hidden gem on a quiet back street in the middle of Rome. This is my fourth time visiting this place. Over 18 years ago was the first time and every time I have been more than satisfied. It is often full, so you have to be prepared to wait a while to get a seat, but definitely worth the wait. The staff is very professional and humble. Can highly recommend theirs "Frutti di Mare in foil."

Found by chance during a walk in the centre, delicious dishes and very kind staff. Roman tradition in the dishes at fair prices also considering the crossroads location between Via Margutta and Babuino. Top Top Top.

Ate lunch here, which was excellent. Homemade pasta to die for! Unfortunately my wife hung her bag on the back of her seat, which was snatched, unbeknownst to her, when I went to the toilet. Outside table diners beware - these guys are very good at what they do! Not the restaurants fault tho. At least the food was great!!

Très bon restaurant où il vaut mieux réserver car c’est souvent plein . Tout était excellent mais pour moi qui suis un gros mangeur , les quantités sont un peu trop juste Néanmoins on est pas déçu

Il posto è molto centrale. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. I piatti sono ben presentati e discreti. Le fritture non mi sono piaciute. Molto buona la carbonara.

07/04/2024: Historic restaurant in Maranella. It has always been there and has been passed down from father to son for 4 generations. I have been going to this restaurant for many years and the quality increases year after year. I recommend the timeless spaghetti with clams and truffles but there are dishes for all types of palates. Try it!!!! Affordable prices.....
05/04/2024: Authentic Italian experience! We spoke no Italian and they spoke no English but the experience was seamless. The staff were really warm and welcoming and the food was incredibly good. I had a steak which was melting in the mouth and my partner had carbonara which he said was the best he had in Rome. We also had panna cotta and chocolate fondant which again was out of this world. We were the only foreign couple but it was no bother, everyone was friendly. We would 100% recommend. We shared a bottle of wine and had two courses and paid less than €50.

02/04/2024: Excellent experience for an Easter lunch, excellent and plentiful food, prepared à la carte.
30/03/2024: Last night I was with friends and we ate very well, from the starters to the first courses ending with the second courses everything was good. I will be back soon and very willingly 👍 thank you we had a nice evening. I'm sorry I didn't take more photos of the food, but we ate it as soon as it touched the table 😂 it was too good.
