Chosen out of curiosity by word of mouth, we tried it for a family dinner. Despite a reservation issue, the staff was professional and attentive. The appetizers and main courses were excellent in a casual setting where the service left a lasting impression. Highly recommended!

An extraordinary welcome from the host who sits down with you to explain and order. The best gricia I've had in Rome, and the meatballs are tasty and tender. Excellent prices. Well done!

A good experience at a neighborhood osteria. The appetizers are very good, with the option of off-menu options, described on a blackboard and always changing seasonally.
The Roman first courses are average.
A quiet atmosphere perfect for spending an evening with friends.

The food is really good! Special compliments for the "Penji" desserts.
Dar Nasone is a place where you can eat well, period.
A pleasant place, informal and respectful service, fair and reasonable prices, high quality, and in-depth creativity. I didn't stumble upon it by chance, it wasn't recommended to me, but I chose Osteria Dar Nasone because it was the one that most inspired me after searching the area for a homely, and above all, non-touristy, restaurant. I was lucky the first time; I returned and found my first impressions confirmed. Cod fillet: authentic, full-bodied, sincere, in flavor and crunchiness. Zucchini blossom, also substantial and appropriately flavorful. Cacio e pepe meatballs that melt in your mouth, and porchetta meatballs with black garlic mayonnaise that make you realize these guys mean business and want an easy win... no prisoners. I avoided the classics, which I'll reserve for the future (carbonara, matriciana, and cacio e pepe). PS. Matriciana and not amatriciana because in Rome matriciana doesn't have the initial A...
I had gricia with artichokes the first time, which was very good and a combination not to be underestimated. The second time I had gnocchi alla coda, which was also very good, the meat was very tender. Perhaps a little bland for my taste, but if I had asked for a little pecorino cheese, they would have been perfect!
My gang and I then stopped, but I spotted two or three dishes that I'll have to try next time... Special mention goes to the house wine, a Chardonnay that restores dignity to the concept of "house wine," too often maligned and rightly so. Mediocre wines that taste like nothing, as I've always classified them, and instead this Chardonnay from Der Nasone is beautifully structured, full-bodied, and aromatic to the point of being in no way inferior to a good, mid-priced bottle... What can I say? I wanted a 9.50, but here the stars stop at 5, so I pass with flying colors and a kiss from the Academy! See you next time!
