Excellent restaurant near Piazza di Spagna. Focaccia and sandwiches filled with a variety of delicacies, from porchetta to cured meats and cheeses. You can eat in, but the place is very small and often crowded. You can also purchase delicacies, such as a phenomenal guanciale, on site.

I tried Ghiottone and Il Salumaio. Both were delicious, but they can be a bit tough when heated. They're much better after they've rested a bit. :) You can easily swap out the ingredients (e.g., spinach leaves for arugula).

Great selection of panini with a small range of arancini, pizza and salads, at a fair price.
Accommodating of kids and allergies. Small amount of seating inside and out.

Simple. Not touristy. Fresh pasta, ordered cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper) made just right. €7.50 Vegan sandwich, properly toasted, fresh ingredients. €7.00. Perfect for a bite, not a full on meal. But ideal mid-day. Forgot to shoot other food, but here's the pasta!

A fantastic spot for a quick bite in Italy! The schiacchiata are excellent, the bread is crusty, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. Fast service, generous portions, and lots of choices. A real find for Italian street food lovers. I highly recommend it!

Literally was the only tourist in here, only saw students and locals the whole time in here. I dream about this sandwich and was one of the best things I ate in Rome! Even left a shopping bag at the table, went back hours later and they had it for me! Can’t wait to visit again next trip!
