The best place I've ever been. The best traditional Indian food you can eat in Rome. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my birthday at this delicious Indian restaurant. The staff was incredibly kind, and we designed a menu together, including for my friends who are celiac and vegetarian. Everything was delicious, and the interior was beautiful! A special mention for the mango chicken, which was fantastic. Thank you!!

I discovered this Indian restaurant in Trastevere that evening, and it was an excellent experience. The lingering atmosphere makes you instantly leave Rome behind and feel momentarily transported to India. I recommend the room at the back. The menu is very varied, though it's not entirely clear for first-timers. The waiters welcome you with a glass of Indian bubbly and a portion of crispy lentil wafer to eat with three dips. I had a meat samosa, which was very good, and the chicken with mango salsa, which I recommend for those who want to try something unique without delving too deeply into flavors that are unfamiliar to us. The portions aren't generous considering the price, but the quality of the place makes them reasonable. At the end of the meal, they also offer you a handful of anise seeds with colored sprinkles, which is also free. We left satisfied with the evening.

We ate for two, with a baby in a baby chair. We had meat samosas and a vegetarian samosa. An eggplant puree, spiced red and yellow lentils, spiced chicken rice, spiced potatoes, and a pizza with onion and butter. They started us off with a lentil flour pastry with three sauces: yogurt, mint, and cumin, apple, fennel, and chili, and tamarind. We spent €39. Everything was very good, fast service, and friendly staff.

Excellent food in a lovely Rajasthani set up. We were delighted to have authentic North Indian food - a good break from the pizzas and pastas. We ordered the dhal Makani and the saag aloo with salad, veg biryani and roti. All delicious. Service from Mahendra was awesome. Highly recommend.

Tasty authentic Indian food with plenty of vegetarian options. We had chicken kabab and fish kebab as starters. Very great and flavorful food without frills

The taste of the food was good, service and ambience was good. Only note is Hyderbadi Biryani mentioned authentic is not a dum-biryani. It is more of rice+mutton-curry or tawa pulao. Yet, the taste was good.

Honestly one the best Indian restaurant in Rome. The Murgh Maccan was genuinely the best Indian dish I’ve ever had. The service was excellent and the waiters are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Love this place.
