27/08/2024: They managed to create a welcoming place in a difficult area to the point that the environment is enjoyable in all seasons. The service is very pleasant. As for the food, based on what I perceived (therefore with a completely subjective judgment), quality materials that are proposed by studying the various recipes with dedication, but not all the dishes were 100% successful. In my case, the fish cannelloni, again in my opinion, despite being of quality, are presented in a recipe with tomato sauce which unfortunately damages the final result. They should pay a little more attention to the dessert menu with more particular solutions. However, apart from these two criticisms which are intended to be constructive, the quality/price ratio is certainly attractive for customers. Personally I found myself very well and will gladly return. I rarely do this in reviews, as it's always personal tastes and experiences, but in this case it's a place worth experiencing: I recommend it.

30/08/2024: I had a delightful experience at Life Restaurant in Rome. The eggplant parmigiana I ordered as an appetizer was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. The ravioli with fresh truffles was phenomenal, rich, and perfectly balanced. The fennel salad was excellent and refreshing, providing a great contrast to the other dishes. The restaurant is also very well-located, close to luxury boutiques and the iconic Spanish Steps, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. Highly recommended!

05/08/2024: We found this restaurant a little desperate because we went to two restaurants and they treated us badly. Desperate and hungry we found this restaurant. Nice in a rustic cave with friendly staff. We ate delicious cacio pepe and porcini mushrooms, we also made the slipper with the wafer made from the cheese. Three of us ate the hearty grilled second course. All very good, highly recommended

08/07/2024: Domenica 7/07/24 sera hanno avuto la spavalderia da bravi ignoranti di prendere in giro clienti affezionati. Io e il mio fidanzato ordiniamo le pizze, a domicilio, una era con la crema di carciofi con aggiunta di bresaola e mozzarella senza lattosio, apriamo e notiamo che le fette di bresaola, le quali sopra non avevano altri ingredienti, presentavano sfumature o meglio iridescenza verde e rosa. Abbiamo telefonato e la gentilissima ragazza che ha risposto pensava che avessimo chiamato per il verde della crema di carciofi, le abbiamo specificato che sappiamo che la crema di carciofi è verde ma che di certo non c’entrava con le iridescenze presenti sulla superficie della bresaola la quale ripeto non aveva nessun ingrediente al di sopra. Fatto sta che prima di concludere la telefonata si è anche messa a ridere, dicendoci poi che se volevamo ce l’avrebbero rifatta. Il mio fidanzato (cliente da vent’anni a momenti) allora si prende la briga di vestirsi e andare di persona al locale. Arrivato alla Teglia, gli viene detto che quel colore è per via dell’aceto balsamico sotto, come se una persona fosse scema, lo sanno anche i sassi che l’aceto balsamico sotto non fa diventare la bresaola iridescente sopra. Al che gli rifanno la pizza senza aceto balsamico, lui esce, ricontrolla la pizza e indovinate un po’? C’erano ancora le iridescenze sulla bresaola. Ritorna e lo dice di nuovo, ma il personale risponde dicendo “ se ai tuoi ospiti nun je piace la pizza qua, digli che la possono pure prenderla da un’altra parte”, ridendo. Al che alla fine la pizza viene cambiata ah e ovviamente fatta con la mozzarella senza lattosio, perché ormai era finita, quindi sono stata costretta a prendermi una pasticca per la digeribilità che non avrei potuto prendere. In tutto questo senza dare una motivazione per l’iridescenza sulla bresaola, senza chiedere scusa o quant’altro. Ora la mia domanda è… Perché avete preferito prendere in giro un cliente affezionato, invece di mostrarvi ristoratori competenti, spiegando il motivo dell’iridescenza e rassicurando il cliente? Vi siete dimostrati degli ignoranti e non poco cafoni. Contenti voi di aver perso clienti affezionati, contenti tutti. La pizza che fate è buona ma non è di certo la migliore. Prenderla da voi era solo una questione di comodità. PS: anche la pizza con il salame piccante era sbagliata. Avete buttato sopra un po’ di peperoncino e poi lo avete coperto col salame per non far notare subito lo scambio di ingredienti, di cui ne avete avvisato ne avete chiesto conferma, invece di mettere la nduja che ha un costo ben differente e in più quando non avete ingredienti, il cliente si avverte e non ci si comporta come avete fatto voi. Vergognatevi. Pps: dovevamo chiamare l’ASL magari con loro non avreste fatto i simpaticoni.
