02/10/2025: The atmosphere was old and inhospitable. The carbonara wasn't a carbonara. The Grigia wasn't a Grigia. But the stew, which tasted of vinegar, hit rock bottom. A first course, a second course, half a glass of wine, and a few sides... €32.

21/09/2025: NO, IF THERE ARE DIETARY REQUIREMENTS, THEY DON'T ACCOMODATE! I have specific dietary needs and just wanted to ask for a custom pizza with ingredients from the pizza menu, not just ones I'd made up randomly. The waitress didn't even let me finish speaking; when she realized I was asking for a customization, she told me they couldn't do it. So I settled for a vegetarian option with four pieces of vegetables in total, even raw ones. They made another mistake at the table, the fries were bland, and the service was slow and overly intimate (the waitress even grabbed us as a joke). 2 stars because they welcome dogs and have room for children.

Special thanks to Joseph and Giovanni, the absolute best: they made us feel at home, with truly rare professionalism and hospitality. The food was excellent, from the quality of the ingredients to the presentation, everything was perfect. A restaurant that combines hospitality, quality, and customer service: we couldn't have chosen a better place for such a special occasion!

19/10/2025: The food was decent, but the evening was ruined by a series of serious issues. First, we ordered a sparkling white wine, but were served a still one without any explanation or discount. During dessert, a young woman found a piece of plastic in the tiramisu. When we reported it, the staff responded with an absurd excuse: the bill had already been issued (incredibly while we were still eating and well in advance), so they couldn't correct the mistake. This excuse is simply unacceptable and shows a complete lack of respect for customers. Furthermore, we had booked with a discount through The Fork, but not only was it not applied, but we were only told after payment that we should have communicated it earlier, as if that were possible, since the bill was printed too early. I want to clarify that the owner's response to Maryam's review is not only false, but dishonest. I have all the proof with me—the receipt and the reservation through The Fork—and I am ready to prove every word of what happened. The discount was never applied, and we paid full price (unfairly) for everything. This place demonstrates no professionalism or respect for its customers. 15/09/2025: We discovered this excellent pastry shop by chance... one day, walking through Frascati, we noticed a line of people in front of a shop. Out of curiosity, we joined in and were surprised to find a pastry shop well-stocked with delicious desserts. Since then, every time we return to the Castelli, it has become a regular stop. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable: the ricotta for the tarts is incredibly fresh, as is the fruit used for the toppings. They masterfully use the flavors, turning seemingly simple tarts into a riot of flavors. One of the pluses is definitely the option to buy individual pieces of the cakes, without necessarily having to buy the whole thing... this system allowed us to sample multiple specialties at once. The selection includes all the classic Italian specialties: jam tarts, stuffed ravioli, torta della nonna, pastiere, etc. I appreciate the company's decision to focus on producing a limited selection of excellently made cakes, rather than experimenting with experimental cakes. Among our family's favorite specialties are: -must donuts (available only during a certain time of year) -classic panettone, whose aromas and candied fruit are sublime -blackberry jam tart The prices are reasonable and fair, considering the quality of the ingredients used.

10/08/2025: We dined in a friendly, family atmosphere, greeted by the owner in a warm and welcoming manner. The bruschetta was excellent, with superb bread and quality olive oil. The baby octopus was excellent. Unfortunately, the risotto was a little undercooked, but it tasted delicious. The waiters were super kind and smiling. A truly pleasant evening. We'll be back.

19/09/2025: More than an idea, it was a mistake 🤢 We happened upon Cocciano by chance. We ordered a few slices of pizza. Shortly afterward, we noticed a strange, bitter, rotten taste in our mouths. Poor-quality ingredients sold at high prices as if they were good quality (but literally, poor quality). Immediate closure!

24/06/2025: Da moltissimi anni i tranci di pizza li porto a casa mia o di amici, anche lontano da Frascati, l'accoglienza e il gradimento sono sempre al top. I gusti sono numerosi e tutti con prodotti di alto livello e costantemente buoni, mai registrato un calo nell'impasto, nella cottura o nella guarnizione che è sempre abbondante e di qualità. Talvolta ho prenotato un ritiro per telefono e il confezionamento è stato effettuato in mia presenza, aggiungendo magari qualche altro trancio con gusti nuovi visto sul banco. La pizza bianca, poi, è buonissima e nel surgelatore ne ho sempre una scorta. I gusti che meglio rendono evidente la qualità, preferiti da me e dai miei amici, sono con la cicoria, la porchetta, la verdura grigliata, quasi inesistenti in altre pizzerie. Il bello è che, come al bar dove vai tutte le mattine, il Personale conosce già le mie preferenze. Anche i fritti sono molto buoni e preparati sul momento. L'organizzazione conta molto in un locale con così ampia scelta, l'attesa non è mai lunga, la cortesia è un altro punto a favore di Pizza Idea di Cocciano - Frascati.

15/10/2025: The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Once you've come in 2-3 times, they'll always remember what you ordered, even without you asking. When you come in here, it's like stepping back in time... Plus, the coffee is always excellent.
