Excellent, top-quality food; delicious, well-seasoned tripe. The owner, a wonderful woman, is a great cook.
And last but not least, the delicious, homemade tarts.

An old-fashioned trattoria.
Paper tablecloths and very basic.
Excellent food, made with care.
This time, the carbonara was too al dente.
But the sauce was exquisite. The rabbit, tripe, and giblets were also excellent.

The best of Roman tradition, mostly cooked according to tradition, with a twist for pancetta in carbonara and a little egg. But for the rest: cacio e pepe, coratella, paiata, tripe, sautéed vegetables, desserts, tarts, and every other delicacy you can dish up in this lovely trattoria, run by the same family since 1935 for four generations: long live it!

Typical family-run trattoria atmosphere. For my family and I, it's a must-try for Roman cuisine. We love everything from the starters (carbonara, gricia, pasta and beans, etc.) to the delicious main courses (saltimbocca, tripe, stew, etc.). Highly recommended!
