For a while, it had been a point of reference and a safe place for me, mainly at lunchtime. Having a son whose tastes aren't conducive to experimenting with new things meant I was away for a long time. It hasn't changed in recent years, and that's a really good thing. The food is always good, and the price is fair. In short, it's a place you can go without fear of disappointment, with a wide selection of "daily" specials that won't bore you, in a casual yet far from sloppy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A truly charming place, in an authentic and traditional setting. The menu was spoken to us by a truly friendly and knowledgeable waiter. For appetizers, we ordered shrimp (recommended) and tuna carpaccio (light and tasty). For our first course, we ordered ricotta-filled ravioli, accompanied by crispy guanciale and pecorino sauce (extraordinary to say the least), and tonnarelli all'amatriciana, also delicious. We continued with grilled cod served with sautéed chicory (also highly recommended). During the evening, we drank a bottle of house Malvasia, delicious. We finally finished with rum baba and strawberry custard. Worth a visit and, above all, a true experience. Highly recommended.

We were taken here by Italian cousins last week. It was an absolutely mouthwatering feast. We never saw a menu, our hosts negotiated the food we would eat with the restaurant staff. We tried all sorts of things we’ve never had the courage to including brains with artichokes, another form of offal, everything was exquisite. The wine was all from the Lazio region as was the cheese which we had in between the past course and the puddings. We shared all the dishes between us so we all had maximum tasting of everything. Semi fredo was particularly delicious.

Far from the city center and the main tourist areas, in Appio Latino, this place charmed us with its excellent service and delicious food. The best dining experience in Rome!

At Domenico's, the amatriciana is sensational!

A family-run trattoria offering traditional Roman dishes, rarely visited by tourists. I visited for a family dinner and had a great time. The fried fish appetizers were fresh and light, and the artichoke alla giudia was delicious. The fish-based entrees are excellent, and perhaps the best part are the homemade and truly delicious desserts. My only point for improvement: the verbal menu creates a more homey atmosphere, but you have to choose your dishes quickly and on the spot. I prefer the written menu, which gives me more time to think about it.

Excellent neighborhood trattoria serving classic Roman cuisine and fresh fish. Excellent fried food. Fair prices.
