You can experience Italian coffee while standing. I had a cold coffee called a Shakerato, made by adding sugar to espresso and frothing it, and it was delicious. It is worth visiting just for the clean restrooms, cool air conditioning, and the unlimited purified water provided at the bar counter when you order coffee.

A wonderful place to enjoy excellent coffee in the heart of Rome. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, making it perfect for a relaxing break after sightseeing or a business meeting nearby. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided great service. The coffee was, as expected from illy, outstanding, and the selection of pastries and light meals was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re near Piazza Montecitorio. I’ll definitely be back!

The croissants are amazing, especially the pistachio one. Our whole family loved it. The prices aren't exaggerated either. I repeat, you absolutely must try the pistachio one.

Average coffee but a great indoor seating area and toilets. My hangout after a long summer day of walking in the sun. Excellent pricing as well compared to the more fancy Italian cafes

Illy never ever fails to quench your needs for a good cup of coffee. The staff were so nice and welcoming. Really needed this great cup of coffee that day. They are also properly priced, no fail, you will get what you need and what you want. There’s a bar area and table service area.

26/04/2026: I'm starting from the premise that I find the place wonderful, and the people who work there friendly and competent. Highly recommended! I'm writing to offer a suggestion: unfortunately, even though your commitment to removing cans and glasses from around the place is clear, your customers don't seem to understand that the neighborhood must be respected. The park is often clogged with plastic cups and your cans. OBVIOUSLY, it's not your fault, but I would suggest organizing a park cleanup every now and then, involving residents, even once a month for a couple of hours, to send a message. I'd come! I know you're good people, and I hope you'll take up the suggestion.

La Terrazza dell'Eden

18/08/2026: Exceptional fine dining. The "Persistence of Memory" tasting menu was creative, precise and full of surprises — the acorn-and-coffee spaghetti and the reinvented tiramisu were absolute standouts. Inspired wine pairing, faultless service, beautiful setting. One of the best meals I've had, will return. Special thanks to Carlo for making the evening truly enjoing.
12/08/2026: The view is absolutely incredible and, honestly, it’s the main reason I would recommend eating at La Terrazza. Unfortunately, almost everything else about the experience was underwhelming, especially given the extremely high price. The food was good, but that’s about as far as I would go. Nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly memorable or special either. At this price point and for a Michelin-starred restaurant, I expected to be blown away, and we simply weren’t. We had much better food elsewhere in Italy for a fraction of the price. The atmosphere also didn’t work for us. It was extremely formal and stuffy to the point that it made the meal less enjoyable. We have no problem with formal dining—in the right setting it can make a meal feel even more special—but here it just contributed to a strange, uncomfortable vibe. That said, the view over Rome really is spectacular and absolutely lives up to the hype. I’m glad we experienced it once for that reason alone. Go for the view, but I wouldn’t go expecting the food or overall experience to justify the price.
